This hotel has a great location just outside the old city walls, making for an easy walk to everything to see in Beaune. The breakfast was very nice and bountiful, with breads, croissants, fruit, coffee, juices, yogurt, hams, cheese, sometimes scrambled eggs. The staff is friendly and spoke english moderately well.
However, our room was in the back in a building that is either converting from or into apartments. The hallway was a bit dank, and the room, while fairly spacious, had a broken shower head and slow drain, which did not get fixed despite my request (albeit on the weekend). The courtyard leading to the back building could use some gardening, although the sitting area just outside the lobby is quite nice. The wi-fi also was spotty in our room, although ample in the main part of the hotel. In garage parking is tight, so be careful if you have anything other than a tiny car.
The price was lower from the other hotels, but the quality of the room also was lower. Next time would pay more for nicer.
