Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Great price. Nice bar area to relax in. Clean and practical. Has a lift. Perfect for a stop over on the way home as we did on the way back from Italy to London.

Hotel was fine, and the staff was good. But, the reservation promised free parking. When we arrived, after a long flight and drive, I spend an hour trying to find a "free" parking spot near the hotel. I asked the front desk, and there was no remedy. I suggested to her that the hotel had failed to fulfill their end of the reservation and was given no explanation or remedy. I understand that there was a market the next day but really?

Comfortable room with everything you need in a modern hotel.
Very central location, a few minutes walk to the Hospices. Breakfast was ok too.
I booked on line and got a good rate, much better than the advertised one. But it was not a busy period and booked 'last minute'

Room tip: I was on the first floor in front of hotel. Quiet, very little traffic.

Hotel has a great location. We enjoyed being within walking distance to so many great restaurants and historical landmarks. Hotel was older but our room was clean, everything worked and they were kind to lend us a fan. Breakfast was good.

Beaune is stunning!! Lovely location, the hotel is very central. But unfortunately I can't rave about the hotel athanor. To be honest we walked in as a last minute booking and at a 'deal price' they offered us €120 for a room- the most we have paid are whole trip around France. We paid the fee and were told to return at 3pm, when our room would be ready for us, after a wonder around the town we arrived back just before 4pm and we were told we had to wait another 20minutes for our room- to which we did have to hold our guns for a while and they eventually let us have a room then. The smell was awful- in my opinion a wet dog smell, I hoped I could put up with it but in the end my partner went and spoke to reception and they provided him with a key to a new room- a bit bigger and definitely a better view with no smell. Rooms basic but ok I guess for one night.
