We stayed over in Le Home twice when heading to / returning from our final destination in the South of France. Overall, Le Home is a very charming hotel; we received a very warm welcome from owner, who was also very helpful to guide us to some restaurants and winemakers. We reserved twice the family-room, which is offering a comfortable double- and 2 single beds. This room is located in a part of the domain which still needs further renovation- unfortunately, there was a very mouldy smell in the room (due to the location in the old barn ?), which gave us a very unpleasant feeling. Also the bathroom- which was definitely spacey, gave us an unfinished look (bath & toilet) and also not very clean. In some respect, we had the impression the room resembles more a B&B (which is not bad of course) rather than a hotel. 11 Euros for a breakfast (traditional offerings, except bacon & eggs) is not cheap, but what is being offered was qualitatively OK.

This place is quaint and quiet. Very nice couple that own the hotel are knowledgeable about Beaune. Short walk into center of town. Plenty of easy parking. Breakfast was very good with a variety of items. There were 4 of us and the room we had was spacious.

We found this property easily on our way down to the South of France and was using it as one night stopover. The property is on a busy main road and there is an Aldi opposite which is handy to get some meat, cheese, bread and wine. The owner kindly provided us with cutlery, crockery and a corkscrew.

I thought the grounds and buildings needed a lot of work, by husband felt they were 'rustic' and 'quaint'.

We sat outside to eat outside to eat our meal as the weather was nice and it was early evening. There are chairs and a table outside the room door.

The room was ok, the bed was enormous and very comfy. The bathroom was separated by a screen although there was a door on the toilet. The shower was large. The bathroom was quite dark and it wasn't easy to see in the mirror because of this.
The room was quite dusty with a lot of dust under the furniture and the worst thing for me was having no comfy chair to sit on as I had a severe mobility problem at that time. There were a couple of very old chairs, but just uncomfortable ones. The wifi worked well.

As stated in the title the young man who greeted us was exceptionally pleasant and polite and he spoke very good English.

We didn't have the breakfast so I cant comment on that.

We wouldn't choose to stay here again and would look for somewhere else if we needed accommodation in the area again.

Room tip: The outside rooms at the back are quiet and good for dogs.

This place should get an extra star just for hospitality. The very friendly owner (I think?) gave us an extra room, free of charge, for my 70-year-old mother. He did our laundry, and gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations. Just a short distance from the main part of the city, this is a charming hotel and a great value!

Hotel Le Home has a magic charm and although it is located 900m from the Old Town it is an easy walk to get there.
It was once an old country house, on a vineyard -1890s so it certainly has great aura. Our large and clean room had padded walls & ceiling! Loved it!!!
The owner is charming and he is very keen to recommend and help you with local restaurants and any information you may need.
A car Park - free and with plenty of parking is easy to find to the Old Town too.
The only drawback was that wifi is not very reliable here - sitting in the garden it was better but ....
