On holiday from Australia we rented this apartment in Dijon after finding it on TripAdvisor. It matched its description, and was a roomy, comfortable apartment in a large complex. Rémy, the owner, had carefully fitted it out with almost everything that you could wish for. All appliances and equipment were modern and quite new.

The location of the apartment is very convenient. We took a taxi from the railway station, but later found that we could walk to the station in less than five minutes. Another five minutes and you are in the main part of the old city with all of its shops.

The apartment complex backs on to the botanic gardens, which also contain a museum and planetarium – well worth a visit.

Our one “issue” was the check in time. Rémy insisted that this needed to be at 18h00. We arrived by train from Paris at 14h00 with significant luggage! (The check in time could have been a deal breaker if we'd known before booking.) Rémy met us at the appointed time and gave us a comprehensive introduction to his apartment.
