“Incredibly disorganized”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

A SURREAL experience about this hotel. We had made a reservation via Booking.com, about 1 month earlier. Only THE EVENING BEFORE the arrival, they called us on the phone telling us that "the guy in charge with the reservation emails just... DIDN't NOTICE our reservation" and that they couldn't confirm our room. Of course, the cancellation wasn't free anymore (remember... the EVENING befour our arrival). They "provided" to reserve a room for us in another hotel 10 Km outside the town, stuck into an industrial zone. We're on holyday in France, me and my wife, and we were looking for a hotel in the center of the town. The hotel staff apologised and apologised again, and this is fair, but anyway, the mistake is absurd and simply should not be even heard something like that in 2014, with the internet operating worldwide and mobile phones that can reach you even in a desert.

Stayed three nights. Room was clean and in good condition. Wifi and TV worked well, didn't eat in, but plenty were. Easy walk to areas were there were plenty of choices. Parked outside the door for the three days with no fees, hard to do in Europe. Pub next door was great.

In reaction to the most recent reviews I can only stay that my experience was positive. i had room 18 which was just fine, bathroom too, wifi fine, receptionist very kind. Breakfast better than most for that price. Location good too, 10 minutes to Center, 10 minutes to the Auditorium.
The inner courtyard with its fig tree was a nice feature; the bed was nice and firm. There is a student hang-out beer garden next door for a late night drink. No noise from them in the rooms. Room 18 was extremely quiet.

hotel itself was lovely. female receptionist at front desk was rude. we were only there one night. wanted to get breakfast in mornning.. threw a plate down with no silverware and seemed annoyed to make the coffee. she needs to be in an office somewhere away from people. was just myself and my teen daughter...made us feel very unwelcome...first time we experienced this in our two week trip. also Dijon is putting in a subway and the roads are all torn up...tough getting around in car...

I wonder if the good reviews are from Friends & Family of the owners!! Disgusting. We would have stayed elsewhere is we hadn't already prepaid. The Bathroom was soooo Gross. ants & mold in the shower - Black Mold & Soap scum on the shower hose. I didn't use the bathroom for anything other than the toilet!
The furniture is decapitated in the room.
And on top of that We booked it because of the parking which wasn't available!!!!
DON'T STAY THERE!!!

Room Tip: Anywhere else!

As all the "Logis de France" I stayed in, the hotel is a nice, small, familiar type of place, a bit unusual in its structure, with an internal private court where the room doors open. Nice big bathroom (at least in our room), with lots of hanging places, clean and pleasant room, even if there was a strange smell of humidity, but it didn't bother us that much. Easy to find free parking nearby (but perhaps this was because of the low season?), and at a short walk to the center of Dijon. I enjoyed also the breakfast, with delicious hand-made figues jam (the figue in the court!). Pity the restaurant was closed on Friday and Sunday evening, so we couldn't try it out.
