5 minutes walk from station and town centre. We had a lovely room which was very spacious and well appointed. Super king size bed was gorgeous. Breakfast was a little disappointing but adequate. Didn't use the hotel restaurant in the evening as there is plenty of choice in the centre.

We had a very pleasant 4 night stay in this hotel. I'm a gold level Le Club Accor member and they upgraded us to an executive suite. I travel a lot on business and the staff in this hotel is one of the friendliest I have ever seen. Every one in the front desk (reception and concierge are the same) was amazing. My special thanks to Marie.

We ate dinner at the restaurant our first night and the food was pretty good. Breakfast is open buffet and quite good. The hotel also has free parking.

I am rating it a 4 and not a 5 because:
- I believe a 5star hotel should have turndown service;
- The bathrooms are French style with the toilet separate from the bath/shower with no sink next to it. So one has to change rooms to wash hands
- Housekeeping was spotty at times. Once we had no soap and another time they had forgotten to replace the wash clothes.

Overall though I highly recommend this hotel. They have started renovating the rooms so I'm sure it will be even better when renovations are complete.

1. Universally friendly staff--front desk, bar, restaurant, housekeeping.
2. Great location--central location right next to the tram stop. The train station is literally a five minute tram ride away
3. Excellent restaurant--go for the fixed price dinners, which offer value. I had the same entree three nights in a row (a first for me), because the quail was the best tasting poultry dish I've ever had. Wine list had a small, but good selection.
4. Large, well appointed room--it was suite-sized with a large sofa and cocktail table.

We stayed here at the end of december for a couple nights as a familly. The hotel is old school glamour chandeliers an all! Altogether we had a very pleasant stay this hotel is set in an old beautiful listed building and if you can afford is probably the place to stay if visiting Dijon, the rooms are lovely and nicely sized, gorgeous beds and fluffy towels with robes and slippers.
All facilities in this hotel are upto scratch, staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, restaurant serves good quality food and breakfast was excellent.
Not really a family hotel more for romantics but we all enjoyed it ! courtyard was cute and hotel was central, good choice for anyone looking for something a bit special.

Room Tip: Higher rooms hear less traffic news.

On arrival our booking was not showing in the system; perhaps due to the change from Sofitel to MCollection or due to having used airmiles.

Regardless the manager on duty handled the situation in stride, and not only apologized numerous times but upgraded us to a most amazing suite (the Chambertin suite). Pure luxury! From the Hammam shower to the luxury linens, nespresso machine, and to the head housekeeper personally ensuring the room was perfect.

Breakfast was included and very nice; although we came down late and some things were a bit picked over.

It is well located to enjoy the beauty of Dijon. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Love Dijon! This year we stayed 3 nights on our way to the south from Paris. Last year we passed up this hotel because of some "not excellent' reviews on tripadvisor. But I love old hotels with history and we decided to book this year thanks to a few reviews that recommended to get a room that had been redone. Well - FABULOUS! We were so warmly received - our room had just been redone and faced the garden side so, as requested, it was very quiet. It's so well designed - there are lovely design touches and also very sensible additions like a second door that blocks any chance of sound from the hallway. There were many plugs for charging electronic devices. Our package included breakfast that was incredible ( in my opinion...). Breads, croissants - an egg soufflé, sausages, bacon, ... Wonderful Fancy dijon mustards, Jams from Lenôtre, échiré butter ... I was not expecting this. Happy surprise.

We understand our room (216) may have been a test room for the newly designed rooms. But the designers seem brilliant and I can't wait to see what's coming next. We booked a small room which size wise seemed adequate. We usually upgrade at least one category as french rooms are small - but in this case we had enough room for our 3 nites -would try for next size room next time.
The MGallery Group has done a great job with this beautiful property and we will definitely return.

Great experience of a 5 star hotel, from the moment they take you car to getting you settled in to your room is first class. All the staff where brilliant and welcoming. The room was just as i would imagine from a hotel of this class, good size, lovely separate bathroom with all the extra's. We had a room over looking the square with a small balcony that you could stand and see a wonderful square. We ate at the restaurant and had a set menu which was very fine, of course the wine is more than i would normally pay but well worth it. Breakfast was good quality and again great service. I would stay there again, there seems to be so much to see in Dijon but sadly i was passing through to i didn't really see to much. Also the bed and sleep was first class.
