We picked this hotel because of the 2 michelin star restaurant but there were a lot of plusses in addition to this. It is a great location for sightseeing and shopping and has a parking service where you drop of your car and it is parked securely and then delivered when you want to leave. Very helpful in a medieval French city.

The staff were very helpful and professional and we had a very smart room. The restaurant lived up to all of our expectations. Nor cheap but a great way to end our holiday in France.

Beautifully renovated modern room and very spacious. Hotel staff were exceptionally nice and helpful when my husband was unwell. Could not fault the service altogether. Lovely view of the multi-coloured cathedral roof from the window. Hotel was very centrally situated only a street away from the Rue de Liberty. The 2 star Michelin restaurant was fantastic for food, ambience and service. Chapeau Rouge is defintely the place to stay in Dijon.

The hotel had been recently renovated and the carpet still smelled new.. Rooms are a bit modern for my taste, but comfortable and very clean which is always a plus. Size was good even though I was traveling alone, there was plenty of room for two persons. Spa tub is a nice touch, but the highlight was the restaurant of William Frachot where the dinner was fantastic! The great stay and meal was accented by the friendly and helpful staff. The location is city centre and the location could not be better. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise, probably the nicest Best Western we've stayed in. It was recently renovated with a playful, modern feel. We had a king size bed, a pretty good sized room and a spa bath. The weather had been chilly and we walked all day, and at the end of the day to sit in the jetted tub was a real treat! There's also a separate shower, the only negative being water would come out onto the floor. The location is great, walking distance to the Owl Trail that takes you to the historic sites, near shops and restaurants and also walking to the train station. This is a big plus. We didn't realize it when we arrived and we waited a long time in line for a taxi unnecessarily.

The hotel was recently renovate, large and comfortable. The breakfast was nice, but ends at 10am, we are late bird, only get chance to have it once. Location is great, walking distance to all historical site/restaurant. The staffs were also friendly and helpful.

I recently stayed in this renovated Best Western property and found it to be quaint yet modern. The staff was friendly and attentive and were quick to come to my room for repairs and wifi concerns. However, my room was a bit small and the toilet kept running. The staff did though fix the water tank.

This is definitely a nice and clean hotel for all travelers. If you are a looking for luxury though, this would not be the place.

We stopped in Dijon for 3 nights and were pleased with our choice of the Hostellerie du Chapeau Rouge. The location is great and we walked all over Dijon from there. Although the rooms are updated and attractive, the building is still old, with creaking floors and thin walls (luckily, the baby next door slept until 6, at which time we all woke up). The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant bar was a great place for an after-dinner drink before heading up to the room. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and from the market in Les Halles, where we went for all our meals. We will stay here again when we're back in Dijon.
