“Cool tower”
Reviewed 28 October 2012

The view from the tower was awesome! Well worth climbing the steps. Very reasonably priced. Could use some more info on how it was built, the guide just unlocks the door.

“A Beautiful Location for Lunch or Wine”
Reviewed 18 September 2012

You can't travel to Dijon without a stop at the ducal palace. It's history at it's finest! Have lunch at one of the cafes across the square and watch the children play in the water. A great afternoon!

“Slendid!”
Reviewed 2 September 2012

Don't leave Dijon without seeing this splendid building and nice semi circular place just in front of it where you can sit and eat or drink a coffee and enjoy the view.

“Works make the place a shambles”
Reviewed 15 July 2012

The centre of Dijon is a building site at the moment and it was hard to visit or admire anything for all the scaffolding.
My wife had to queue half an hour for the single public toilet which was maddening.

“A must see in Dijon!”
Reviewed 4 June 2012

The palace is occupied in part by the Musée des Beaux Arts, Dijon Tourism Office and Dijon municipal government. A fitting monument to the power of the Dukes of Burgundy, the palace will not "wow" you like Versailles, the Louvre, or Buckingham Palace, but as a regional palace, is remarkable simply in that it has survived through so much war and strife. It will nevertheless please anyone who fancies architecture. Note that the palace is undergoing extensive renovations as of June, 2012 that severely limit how much of it you can see, and the Ducal tombs have been removed are on tour. I would still suggest you visit, even with these limitations, and if the weather permits, do not miss the chance to climb the tower of Philip the Good for a great view of the City of Dijon.
