As I walked in through the entrance I was stunned by the massive sculpture on the facing wall of what was once a church. This museum is truly a surprise and is well worth the few minutes walk from the musee des beaux arts just up the road. Sculptures of Napoleon and Marshall Ney dominate the side of the two room gallery and the detail is amazing. Really worth a visit and it wont take much time to appreiciate the work of Francois and Sophie Rude.
