In a refined, sober but elegant setting, tables comfortably spacious and spread, a young team delivers an enthusiastic eating experience. We had the 52 euros menu gastronomique, a seven-meal succession of elaborate tastes, such as fresh pasta with cream and black truffles, scallop and lobster carpaccio with ginger and horseradish, chicken breast in a divine juice, quenelles de brochet, 3 cheeses, and 2 desserts (tatin style pie, and an out of this world cream and orange creation, one of the best desserts we have had in 50 years!

All that washed with a 2009 Chambolle-Musigny, recommended by the staff, which at 104 euros the bottle is reasonably priced, considering its incredible quality and the fact that the mark up is only double, compared to the usual 3x or 4x.

We were looking for a romantic experience. We got that, plus an incredibly good dinner at a very very reasonable price, given the effort and quality involved.

The tasting menu (Menu Degustation) included two seafod dishes, a soup, and a roasted pork shoulder with pork belly. All was excellent at a price much easier than one of the michelin starred restaurants in Dijon. Service was casual but attentive, with the right amount of help and discussion if requested, but quiet and unobtrusive. Excellent wine list included many grand cru burgundy at prices well below other restaurants. (eg, I seem to remember several older DRC grand cru at prices of several hundred, rather than several thousand, euros. Me, I had a premier cru Chambolle.) It was understood that I pour my own bottle, which I prefer. (Yes, I took some of the bottle home!) In summary, an excellent value for gourmet dining.

I will keep this review simple. If you are in the Burgundy region you must go to this restaurant.
My wife and I ate there in November, 2013. Everything about the meal - from the moment we arrived until we left- was amazing. Go and enjoy.

I do agree with the reviews written
We chose this restaurant based on the trip advisor reviews, and it's location near the center of Dijon old town.
When we arrived there were still plenty of tables no need for reservation.

The finest restaurant experience. Absolutely deserves a Michelin Star (or more). Set within an elegant building off a quiet street in an upscale neighborhood it makes a beautiful first impression but gets better every step of the way. Elegant yet unpretentious, you are comfortable and yet awed as you settle in. Warmly greeted and then attended to by a team who observes and serves with precision timing and attitude - the service alone would make this a fabulous evening. The kitchen staff and food preparation is open to the dining area, which is a delight to observe. Assistance graciously provided with the menu for those not sufficiently familiar with the language or preparation. Then the food starts to arrive to your table. Ordered in a Prix Fixe style, complimentary extras arrive that truly inspire you for what's ahead. Flavors explode yet with finesse, sauces and textures are perfect. Plate Presentations gorgeous. Clientele was quite varied - business groups, couples, friends, locals and visitors. Tables not too close. I always order desert and did this time but was too full to appreciate it to its fullest extent. Could not believe how reasonable the bill was with food and wine for a dining experience on this level.
