Dijon is a lovely place and location wise. This hotel is excellent.
Rooms were quite 1980's in decoration and definitely needed updating. This seemed true of the whole hotel.
The staff however were very friendly and polite. We made out booking on the internet and thought breakfast (which was very average and not worth the money) was included so watch out for that.
When I'm next in Dijon... If I'm stuck for accommodation I would potentially stay there again!

nice stay in the hotel, its a little dated inside but added to its charm not long to walk to rthe town center and had free onsite parking as it was an overnight stop.
fantastic location and very scenic out the front

Only stayed one night thank goodness. The hotel was probably very nice back in the 70's. Dirty room, broken plugs, nylon bedspread, foam pillows, basic bathroom, etc. etc. Nice view onto the main street. Staff were acceptable and location pretty good with a 10-15 minute walk into the centre. There must be better value hotels to stay in Dijon. - Shame as the city is worth a visit.

Fairly good location but what swung it for us was the availability of free off road parking. However, it was difficult to find a space as not a lot of room to manoeuvre. Room was good - just as well there was a tiny lift, as we were on 2nd floor. Walls were quite thin, so take ear plugs. Breakfast is in lower ground floor - clean and bright, but not enormous choice. However it's not expensive so good for one night stay. I note someone complained about lack of curtains or blinds - that's because they have outside shutters - which worked.

Shocking room. Could not open the toilet door fully because it hit the bed. Bathroom very good. Twin beds were uncomfortable. The worst part is that there are no curtains or blinds on the windows and apartment block opposite. Receptionist was friendly and the bus into town is just outside the hotel and convinient. Not at all impressed

Room Tip: Not sure there are any. Only stopped there once. Never again

Tip first - Take your ear plugs because you can hear everything that is going on in the rooms around you as the walls are so thin!

The hotel is located only 15 minutes walk from the centre of Dijon and is located in a fantastic area of the city. The parking is free, which sealed it for us against other hotels for a similar price, but it is tight parking area so if you have a large car, make sure you arrive early to get a good slot that you don't get blocked in the morning.

Overall, it is a good option as a stopping point for a night or two maximum. We used it for one night on our way back up to Calais from Cannes. It is around 360 miles from Calais and can be driven in around 5/6 hours.

Room Tip: Ask to be kept away from the lifts and stair well

The hotel is located in a top class residential area on a large but quiet avenue. Public transport 50m from the hotel door directly to the historic center (unfortunately there was a partial strike of public transport). Private parkings. Clean and nice rooms. Breakfast buffet of good continental quality. No other meals!!! Good Relationship quality-- price.

Room Tip: Equal quality of rooms.
