Strolling around Rue des Forges its very interesting
Great for photography . The best thing to do is to stay
in the city so we have more time to explore

On the face of it this looks like a short shopping street. Yes, great shops selling all manner of bits an bobs, fantastic sorbets near the Place Rude and the tourist office at the far end. Hidden through doorways and short corridors are some fantastic courtyards and houses. Be brave and if you see an open door which appears to lead somewhere go in and see fantastic Medieval house tucked away.

This is a particularly quaint street but there are several other close runners up. The whole central area is worth a slow leisurely walk taking in all the small details. Its just behind the Ducal palace with an assortment of little shops either side.
Slow down and take notice of the finer details

Not sure why this road has been singled out as many of the little roads in the centre of Dijon are as equally impressive.

The architecture is beautiful, with many buildings either having exposed beams and / or detailed carving

There are book stalls on the cobbles and some lovely pastry shops and cafe / bars tucked away

Several styles of architecture can be seen. A lot of tourists take pictures of the monument. Cathedral and the little owl are close.
