I booked Studio Les Fleurons because we wanted a kitchen so we could have breakfast in our room. We stayed here 3 nights and it was almost perfect. It is just steps from the town, we parked right in front, the bed was comfortable and the apartment so artistically decorated. The only drawback is there is no wifi. The town of Amboise does not have wifi so couldn't use that as a backup. The owners offered us to use it in the main chateau but we were locked out unless you hit the time right to when they were available to let you in. If you want wifi I recommend you stay in the main chateau (which is beautiful). The owners are wonderful, friendly hosts.

Amboise was our favorite town in the Loire Valley.

Room Tip: There is one studio room and all the rooms in the chateau are beautiful.

Tim and Carolyn made us very welcome, and gave us useful tips for our time in the Loire. The room had a small balcony overlooking the Loire. Comfortable bed, bathroom with good sized shower cubicle.
All in all, an excellent stay in Amboise. Would thoroughly recommend.

Room Tip: One side looks over the river, the other the chateau. Either way exceptional view.

If you are staying in Amboise, Les Fleurons is perfect! The owners are from England and extremely helpful. Besides providing a delicious breakfast and a beautiful home, they were polite, friendly and a wealth of information. Our room was as beautiful and charming as the photos and looked out over the Loire river. Walk out of the front door and there is the castle. Close to restaurants and not too far from the Clos Luce, Leonardo's last home. We highly recommend this B & B style home.

This B and B will not disappoint you. The setting is lovely looking out at the water, the furnishings tasteful and the warmth of Tim and Carolyn the best. They are welcoming and ready to help to offer suggestions for this cute town

We spent 2 nights in the studio apartment next to Les Fleurons. I was originally a little concerned about booking the studio instead of the B&B but it turned out perfect.

Location:
We used Amboise as the base to explore Amboise as well as the surrounding towns. Amboise itself is amazing. Turned out to our favorite town in the Loire Valley. The apartment is next to the chateau and in the middle of town. The Chateau, restaurants, Carrefour etc were all walking distance. There is also free parking outside along the street. Looking out the window gives you a view of the Chateau (if you crane your neck a little).

Rooms:
The apartment is really nice! Was a little apprehensive when Carolyn lead us into the building. It seemed a little abandoned! But the apartment was cozily furnished with anything that you will require. There is no Wifi in the apartment, although my husband managed to lean far out of the window enough to receive Wifi from the main house.

Food:
This was not a typical B&B option, if that's what you are looking for then book at the main house. But Carolyn and Tim did have juice, butter, coffee, tea, pasta etc provided. You could easily whip up a simple breakfast or walk to Carrefour to pick up some essentials. We has a fry up the first morning and a noodle soup for breakfast the next!

Environment:
We liked the privacy of having the place to ourselves. There was no disturbing anyone with our coming and going. We did bump into Carolyn and TIm on the street outside on several occasions. They were always friendly and help with suggestions.

The nearby street with restaurants opposite the Chateau is a great place to get your meals. And while in Amboise, Clos Luce is definitely an interesting stop.

Room Tip: The studio apartment is good for travelers who are not looking for that social interaction that come...

Loved our short stay in this beautiful B & B with our lovely hosts Tim and Carolyn. Beautifully located at the foot of the chateau, right next to the river and 5 min walk to town centre with shops and restaurants (good restaurant Cafe Bruno). We had the lovely Wild Room facing the river. Beautiful dining room with great breakfast.
Not easy to find at first as entry is behind the buildings facing the river.
Check in time(5-7pm) was a problem as we had arrived at the midieval village Chinon to have a look after driving all day but didn't have time to see anything as we had to be in Amboise to check in. Would have liked to have seen this place. With the long day light hours it is a shame check in is so early.

Room Tip: Chateau or river rooms beautiful!

Les Fleurons is the perfect place to stay in Amboise, a charming town on the banks of the Loire River, centrally located in the Loire Valley. Carolyn & Tim are wonderful hosts, & the breakfast is magnificent (we had to leave early on our final morning & they even packed us 'breakfast to go'), they also suggested itineraries & restaurants, & made reservations for us- thank you Tim, Chez Bruno was wonderful! Our (2) rooms were beautifully decorated, comfortable & overlooked the river on one side & the Chateau on the other. Everything about this b&b is exquisite & yet excellent value for money.

Room Tip: All of the suites looked perfect
