Here we stayed for two nights as part of our tour of Loire. No lifts are here in this joint but I'm sure staff would help if needed. Service was great.

Its a great place to stay if you plan on cycling as they have a garage for your bikes. Rooms are small but sufficient. It is very clean and has wifi. Breakfast was good and restaurant for dinner also good.

Most of the restaurants are located near the chateau which is on the otherside of the river but it is not that far to walk anyway.

We booked a "triple bed" room and asked for quiet. Couldn't have been better. Isabelle gave us one of the two rooms that are separate from the main building, back off the road. Highly recommended. There's a big garden area with plenty of seating and lots of peace and quiet. Secure parking off street. Great wifi. Nice beds. Clean. Breakfast a good value at 10.5 euros. Didn't do restaurant because they were booked, but TA reviews are excellent if you like finer french dining. Great boulangerie and charcuterie 5 min walk down the street. 15 min walk to town and chateau, and if you're in town on Sunday there's a huge open air market held next to the river. Amboise is a great location for seeing the chateaus.

Not only did we have a wonderful stay at Logis La Breche and an amazing dinner at their restaurant, but the staff was incredibly helpful in helping us recover some important items we had accidentally left at the hotel. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Loire valley.

La Breche was our first stay after Paris and was so welcoming! Roman checked us in and gave us all the info we needed. Our room was roomy, clean, and comfortable. We were happy to have the convenience of a parking lot on the premises and the garden courtyard was lovely. Roman also asked when we checked in if we would like to make a reservation there for dinner that night and we set up a time. Best decision as the food was spectacular (as well as our service) and the even accomodated two vegans in our group with a wonderful meal as well-not easy in a country that loves its cheese and butter!
Isabel was our hostess and was a delight! We had the pleasure of seeing her again each morning for our continental breakfast that was just right and made nicer still with her smiling face and humor. The location of La Breche is across the bridge from the Chateau Amboise and a short scenic walk. So peaceful and homelike for us each day when we returned with a bottle of wine to enjoy in the garden. The hotel is not luxurious or stuffy so if that is your preference look else where. But if you want to relax and enjoy the Loire valley each day then you would choose wisely here!

A 10 min walk to Château Amboise and another 10 min to Château Clos de Luce, a 20min drive to Château Chenonceau and 45min drive to Chambord...so, a good location for Châteaux hopping.

The staff was very helpful! Anything we needed was given with a smile at a moment's notice.

We traveled with our children and 1 set of grandparents. We had the Family room with our 2 kids and had to pay an extra 10€ for a second twin bed in the room. This was odd to me because the Family room cost more than a regular room and usually that covers the cost of 4 people to a room. Anyway it had a small sitting area, a WC and bathroom.

My inlaws had the room next door with 1 bed and full bathroom. Both were acceptable and clean when we arrived. The drawback was that neither room was made up the first day...our rooms were in a separate building from the other rooms and that may be why. They were made up the second day and we left on the 3rd.

The restaurant was good! You do have to make your reservation ahead of time but they squeezed us in when two of our group got sick and prevented us from going to town for dinner. As I said the staff was great!

It was quiet on the street and the courtyard/garden was a nice place to have a glass of wine in the evening. We were able to purchase wine and soda from the restaurant and take it outside which was wonderful.

The breakfast buffet was good, with quite a few options. It cost 10,50€ for adults And children. It always irritates me when children are charged the same as adults as they never eat half what an adult eats.

We found a patisserie down the street and got breakfast there the 3rd day for much less than the 63€/day the buffet cost us at the hotel.

Overall our stay was okay. The really great staff made up for the shortcomings for us.
