We stayed one night in Amboise on our way to southern France. The hotel was clean and comfortable but what impressed us the most was the staff - super helpful and friendly helpful. Loved that they had a place to park the car safely as well. Breakfast had a nice selection of options. If you go, make reservations at the restaurant in the hotel - you won't be disappointed - it was AMAZING!

Room tip: Eat a meal in the restaurant at the hotel - you will not be disappointed!

This was a great stopping point for our overnight stay - the room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was absolutely fantastic. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was very good. Conveniently located within walking location of restaurant and other shops, despite the constant rain.
Thanks for the hospitality!

Not in a picturesque area of the town, but well worth seeking out.
A warm welcome, and a well-balanced menu. The standard of the food was superb.
My only slight moan is that I paid a lot for what I thought was a fairly ordinary bottle of Cabernet d'Anjou!

We had to find a hotel a short notice and spent a Sunday night here. The only problem was that the restaurant was closed but they recommended an excellent restaurant 10 minutes walk away. The next morning we managed to leave two things behind - they rang us when they discovered the first item, we were 20 minutes away, then after we left they discovered something else, fortunately we were still outside. Silly yes, very helpful them.

My wife and I recently spent 6 nights at La Breche during our tour of the Loire Valley. What a great stay on so many fronts! M Mme Berthelot are kind and accommodating hosts. The room was quiet and comfortable. It is an easy walk to Amboise over the Loire River. We also chose Amboise for it's central location to the many Chateau's we visited. It was nice to settle in at one location and headout each day to see the beautiful Loire Valley. We ate breakfast at La Breche each morning and enjoyed 2 dinners at the hotel. The food was delicious and served with style and joy. A great stay!
