We stayed here for one night only as we were only passing through and I wish we had booked more nights there..Madame Annick was charming and very lovely. Our room amazed us because it was so big and filled with light. Our room was larger than my whole apartment back in Sydney...the accomodation was extremely clean and very comfortable. We felt like we were visiting a family member because Madame Annick made us feel so comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she did everthing to ensure we were relaxed and settled in. We highly recommend Manoir de la Maison Blanche to anyone. You will get the best night's sleep too. The gardens are so pretty and elegant. We can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: book early and enjoy the stay

My husband and I stayed with Annick at the Maison Blanche as we'd been before and knew it to be a charming and peaceful place to stay. As ever, Annick was friendly and helpful in providing us with information to get to various places and, as ever, her breakfasts were a delicious mix of yoghurts, fresh breads and crossants along with home-made jams, cerals and fruit. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. It's so nice to be able to stay somewhere where there is virtually no noise, no traffic, it is at the end of the road and has a huge garden all around where, if you're lucky, the only thing you might hear is the hoot of an owl! It was great, we'll go again!!

We stayed four nights here during October 2011.
There was plenty of parking, we drove and based ourselves here to explore a number of chateau in the area. A short drive to the town centre also for meals, etc.
Our room was lovely, spacious, comfortable and clean; the bathroom was also big with his/hers basins.
Breakfast was amazing, with fresh breads and pastries (which varied daily) and homemade jams which were delicious. Cereal, fruit, tea, coffee, etc also available. Wifi was also provided.
Annick was a pleasure to chat with, and had a number of delightful pets - cats, dogs and horses - which added to the experience of our stay. Would return and recommend to all.

My husband and I stayed with Annick at the Mainson Blanche and had the most amazing honeymoon stay. The historical B and B is beautiful, nicely restored, and updated. Annick's homemade jams were the stars of the generous Continental breakfast that included a great view of the well manicured grounds and her two horses that graze each morning there. The Band B is well situated in the middle of the Loire and Cher vallies where we visited the chateaux and wineries and sampled all the wonderful foods. If you fail to book this B and B, you are missing out!!

Room Tip: We stayed on the first floor in the main building and the room was large and connected to a courtyar...

We had a lovely stay at this charming B&B. Annick our host was delightful and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and spacious enough for our family of 2 adults, toddler & child. The rural setting and the family pets were a big hit with our children. It was a peaceful location that was a great launching place to explore the Loire Valley. Yummy breakfasts. A fairly long walk into town but a quick trip if go by car.

La Maison Blanche is amazing! The hospitality of the owner was truly incredible, I have never stayed somewhere that the owner was so helpful. We had a car rental that needed to be returned to a nearby town the next morning, she asked where the drop off was and where we were going. It turns out that there was a rental car drop off at the train station in the town we were going to head back to Paris from. The rental car place would have had us drop off our vehicle in a different town over an hour away! She called them for us and set up a drop off at the station!!! She also helped us plan which chateaux's we should visit in the time that we had while we were there. The property was beautiful, horses in the front yard grazing in the morning, large picturesque trees, it was so beautiful it was almost surreal. All 6 of us highly recommend this place if your close to Amboise.
