Have visited La Maison Blanche many times now and if anything it gets better and better. We enjoy travelling through the Loire Valley with it's rivers, chateaux and vinyards and stay with Annick as she and her accommodation are the best! Beautiful rooms and gardens, clean, quiet and calm after a day's travelling and always a very friendly welcome. Hope that you too will be lucky enough to be there when the apricot and pistachio bread is served at breakfast, it was fab! Annick has several different boulangeries that she uses so breakfast is varied but always very good. Home made jams, cheeses and yoghuts ... delish! I recommend the Maison Blanche without any hesitation .... you'd be mad to pass it by!

Warmly welcomed on arrival to this charming, tasteful home with all our requirements catered for. We were so utterly pampered that we changed our arrangements and returned for a final night. The perfect holiday destination in France and we look forward to a return trip. Annick was like an well loved friend and looked after us like family. The breakfast was the best start to our day of all our days in France. The fresh fruit and the freshly baked breads and croissants and the thick home made jams were just excellent. The grounds were beautifully kept with glorious flowers and shrubs.

Room Tip: All rooms are good - just be aware of the one room with access via a spiral staircase - but with gre...

I stayed in this wonderful B & B for 3 blissful nights. The property is so astoundingly beautiful that my daughter and I didn't want to leave. 10-year-old Lyssi was in love with beautiful Miss Annick's pets - the Great Dane named Taylor, the golden-fleeced Snoopy, the four cats and two horses. We stayed in a wonderful room with a nearby complimentary sitting-room and downstairs kitchen, where we could chill drinks and cheeses for midnight snacks. Ridiculously huge hydrangeas, tumbling roses and ivy make you feel like you've stepped into some enchanted daydream.

I personally would recommend the room we stayed in. There were heavenly streams of fresh air from the two windows in the A-framed walls, and the shower had great water pressure, which is one of my husband's obsessions. It is one of two 'blue rooms' upstairs, overlooking a courtyard. Miss Annick will know what you mean!

Something I have to share with you, simply to try to explain what a wonderful hostess Miss Annick Delecheneau is...

On our first night, it was just my daughter and I. My husband was in Paris. Seeing Mum and little girl alone, with no car, must have pulled at Miss Annick's heartstrings. My daughter was working on a big school project and looking for material. Miss Annick personally took us to Domaine Gendron, a wonderful winery nearby. The gracious winemaker showed us through le cave, brought out some fascinating historic tools, and really indulged my delighted daughter. So so kind! That's Annick.

This is the most perfect place to escape to. Breakfast is scrumptious, with different amazingly delicious bakery delicacies every morning, great coffee, cheese, fruits, cereal and yogurt.

Unconditionally recommended by one quite picky woman - me.

Room Tip: The blue rooms upstairs provide privacy as they are not in the main house. Breezy and well-ventilate...

We stayed here in a family room with our twin 12 year old girls. The room was lovely but what really made the stay so special was the incredible setting - so beautiful and peaceful and only a couple of minutes from town. Two friendly dogs, two lovely cats and two horses grazing on the lawn with the sound of frogs in the undergrowth in the evenings - wow! You have a place to sit out and use of a kitchen if you want to make something yourself. The breakfast was lovely with great homemade jam. Thank you Annick for sharing your beautiful home with us.

My friend, son & I stayed in a room for 3 and it was so comfortable and charming. We had a nice terrace outside our door surrounded by beautiful gardens. There are friendly dogs & cats roaming about that my son absolutely loved! Our hostess, Annick, was so kind and wonderful to us. The breakfast was a great way to start the day and in a very pretty room. There is a nice little kitchen for all to use with a full refrigerator that we stored food & wine in and wine glasses & corkscrew for us to enjoy a bottle of wine on the terrace at night. The property is large with lots of space to walk around and explore the gardens & visit the horses. You feel like you are in the country but you are right near the wonderful town of Amboise! We had a nice dinner in town after exploring the chateux Amboise. Annick is very warm & welcoming.

By far the best accommodation we stayed at on our tour of the Loire Valley, beautiful room with all you would want for a comfortable stay.
Breakfast was superb, and in the evenings we sat on our personal terrace with a nice Bordeaux.
If your staying near Amboise and are looking for reasonably priced B&B this is the one to go for.
We will return.

Our family of four stayed two days in late June and were delighted! The property is in the close outskirts of Amboise but you feel as if you're on an country estate...beautiful courtyard, gardens, trees, horses, seclusion...it's all here. We were in a pair of rooms up a flight of stairs that shared a small sitting room...while the post-and-beam structure dates from the 15th century, the rooms themselves are totally modern with furnishings, baths, and wifi...and spotless. Annick serves a wonderful breakfast including a different assortment of fresh breads each day. We drove to/from town when needed but it's easily walkable if needed. You have your pick of chateaux within easy driving distance including can't-miss Chenonceau (less than 15 minutes). My only regret is we didn't slow down enough from touring the area to simply enjoy some time at the manoir...recommended without reservations...you'll love it!

Room Tip: Our family shared two rooms with a connected sitting area...upstairs in the building across the cour...
