We had a most welcoming and pleasant stay with Annick and wished it could have been longer. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had everything needed. Surrounded by a lovely garden and with friendly pets too.Important when you're used to them and away from home.
We were treated like family and Annick helped with the best information for us to optimise our visits to the Chateaux. This was a special memory for us and we could only give Maison Blanche our highest recommendation. It was close to everything in the town and restaurants were not far away.

My husband, teenage daughter and I spent two wonderful days at "la Masion" The owned is a generous, friendly woman who went out of her was to make us feel at home and help with finding additional lodging. The farmhouse is unique and we were treated to kittens sleeping on our beds when we woke up and the smell of stong french coffee with fresh pastries and home made jams. The farm is just far enough from the center of town for a healthy walk before and after dinner, but not so far as to wear you out. Her dogs were fabulous and some of our best trip photos are with our family gathered around all the creatures. I would not recommend this place if you don't love animals or are afraid of a bit of "Character' but we will certainly come back!

For our first year wedding anniversary, we spent time driving through France and had a lovely stay in the Manior de le Maison Blanche. The owner was delightful and cared about the needs of every guest. This is a lovely place to stay in the sleepy town of Amboise. The homemade jam could not be beat. This is the place to go to get away from it all. You can tell that there was great attention to detail in the rooms and was everything a country French manor should be. After staying here, I was ready to pack up and move to France. I admire the work the owner has put into the place and her lifestyle.

Everything we had read about Manoir de la Maison Blanche on Tripadvisor prior to our trip seemd actually to be true! Peaceful, beautiful and huge garden, fantastic house, delicious breakfast.... and last but not least the most welcoming and friendly a hostess! Our family of four stayed in the manoir for four nights and all of us just loved everything about it!

Annick is the perfect hostess - friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfasts are superb. She makes a special effort to go to different boulangeries & patisseries each day so that long term guests have a variety, and the home made preserves were wonderful. Although this B&B is only a few minutes by car from the centre of Amboise, you feel like you're in the country as the place is on a couple of acres & her daughters have horses. We were there in springtime & the iris & wisteria were a picture. We thoroughly recommend this place to all who want a central place to stay in the Loire Valley.

This was my first trip to France- I went with my husband and 21 year old son. While I have stayed at many US B&B's, this place is absolutley wonderful. Annick speaks beautiful english, has a spotless, warm and inviting Inn. We stayed in a HUGE room witha queen bed and a single , a small table and chair and a giant bathroom- all spotless. Annick is a wealth of information and spends some time with her guests at the end of breakfast. She gave us some great tips about the Loire vallley with out being intrusive. Her grounds are beautiful. I just cant say enough. We loved it! She has a small kitchen that the guests can use . It has a frig, microwave, plates etc. It was great for having a glass of wine and cheese after a long day of touring.
So to sum it up- GO HERE!!!- you will not be disappointed! (Bring cash- she doesnt take credit cards)
