“Most relaxing French holiday”
Reviewed 18 May 2012

We heard about this B&B from a friend and we were not disappointed. The location is perfect with a stream, geese, chickens, ducks and two of the most perfectly behaved dogs.
Our hosts, Marina and Noel are widely travelled and we had extensive and interesting conversations.
Hospitality is exceptional and the mill is a very warm and comfortable place to stay.
We visited chateaux on a daily basis following our hosts advice and did not overdo the trips, their knowledge of the area is valuable.
Do take the opportunity of taking the evening supper as Marina is an excellent cook.
We are in no doubt that we shall return.

Stayed over the long bank holiday week-end. Set in the middle of the village of Molineuf ( a hop away from Blois), the building is centuries old but has been lovingly renovated by the current owners.
Got to say that Marina's cooking is second to none.
Lovely relaxing stay and will come back.
If you are planning to stay, do bring a treat for the two dogs Roxxy and Jenny.

We spend a wonderful week at the mill in Molineuf. The welcome by Marina, Noel and of course the dogs Roxy and Jessy was very warm. We immediately felt at home. The room we had (the Camelia) was very spacious with a beautiful view on the garden and the river. Noel and Marina are perfect hosts. There's always time for a good conversation or a drink together. Breakfast made bij Marina is a daily treat: eggs (from their own chickens) made just the way you like them! Together with all kinds of bread, croissants, cake and (homemade) jams. To top it off we had a lovely dinner at the mill. Wonderful cooking by Marina in combination with great wines picked by Noel. We certainly will return to this perfect B&B. We haven't seen all the chateaus and lovely villages in the Loire valley yet. But most off all we like to experience the hospitality at the mill again! Many thanks for a great week, Sandra & Sjoof from Holland!

What a wonderful treasure is the 'Le Moulin des Charmes'. Hosts Noel and Marina are beautiful people who made my family feel very welcome in an exquisite setting. Wonderful rooms, fine food backed up by great personal service from the hosts. Shared the most special Easter meal with these wonderful people and Marina can cook the house down. We are from Adelaide and wanted to show our kids a slice of French countryside. A car hired from Blois helps to get around the lovely Loire valley (thanks to Noel's advice). A great spot to set out from to explore the area. The contryside was fantastic but not surpassed by the wonderful Noel and Marina. Be back in a flash! Great location, friendly advice, great humour, great food. What more can you ask for! Bon Journee! Thanks Noel and Marina and Roxy and Gessie.

Lovely couple Marina and Noel, made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was magic, with a choice of fresh eggs and bacon, or pastries, and as much help as you needed to go and find places to visit. The pub opposite was good for a meal and drinks, and Blois was a nice place to wonder around and eat. All in all very happy and would recommend.

Although we arrived at the mill at lunch-time - ahead of schedule and far too early - we were given a warm welcome, a tour of the house and cups of coffee by Marina and Noel. Even Jessie and Roxy seemed pleased to see us! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay and felt very much at home at the Moulin. Breakfasts were fantastic - home-made cake and jams, eggs from the Moulin hens..On a couple of days it was warm enough to sit next to the mill stream, watching the geese and hens, all very idyllic. It was definitely one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed at and we hope to return again soon. Thank you Marina and Noel!

We have spent time at Le Moulin des Charmes during 23-25 March 2012 for travelling around Valley De La Loire seeing all the Chateoux. We deeply impress to the service providing from the owner of the place very much. The rooms are very clean and area is so nice and very cute. We love their breakfast a lot. It is quite delicious and the owner also gave us a lot of guidance around the area. We have great conversation with them during our stay and we delight to see them again either go back to their place or in my home country if they wish to come to Thailand for their own holiday too. we highly recommend people who plan to have their holiday in that area in France to stay at this place.

Room Tip: All rooms are very good
