The staff is very friendly, the rooms a bit old fashion but ok and clean, the bed is totally uncomfortable and not a 4 star rating hotel worth. We could hardly sleep on this bed. (therefore we do not recommend this hotel)

This was one of the hotels reserved for us through a cycling tour company. The hotel is larger and more modern in design than the usual places we stayed in other parts of the valley. There is a large open area on the ground floor next to a well stocked bar but few guests gathered to socialize or play pool. Perhaps most head for city center in Blois which is a 10 minute walk for dinner and drinks.

The room was adequate for three, quiet, and the internet worked perfectly in the room (untrue for many smaller hotels on our trip). The design and ambiance is spartan and spare.

Our anticipated dip in the indoor jacuzzi was short lived due to tepidly warm water.

Breakfast service was as expected.

We stayed for one night on our trip to Loire Valley at a superior room.

The room was overlooking the backyard and the wall which was not we expected. The size of the room was ok and it was clean.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful on recommending us about our route to the chateaux.

Wi-fi was free of charge which was a big plus.

Parking was available with a daily rate of 8 euros or it was possible to park nearby free of charge.

Blois is a nice little town with cafes and restaurants, though not much to do, except visiting the chateaux nearby.

We stayed for one night and the room was clean and quiet. It is only a short walk to the castle. Private parking is available. Perfectly adequate breakfast. Free wifi is available. We did not eat at the restaurant

We stayed at this b &b for 2 nights in mid may to explore the chateaus around the area. The hosts were very helpful and meet us outside when we arrived and showed us to our rooms. We really enjoyed the breakfast which included cooked eggs and a variety of cereals and fruit plus the usual fare of a French country breakfast. The hosts also provided us with recommendations of a good restaurant in Blois and also which chateaus to visit. The rooms were clean and and very accommodating.

We found the location some 5 minutes outside Blois not very useful as you had to go by car to any shop or restaurant and there was little to do by just walking. The showers were very small and the lack of a tv in the room or the lounge detracted from the experience. While not the fault of the host due to the thick walls the wifi was difficult to access.

Overall we thought this b & b was somewhere between a 3 & 4 rating given our previous travels and cost comparison but the generosity and attendance of the hosts and their breakfasts made our time here memorable and thus a higher rating.

Room Tip: Some rooms are in the main residence and while cheaper you have to enter the lounge to access them...

Good location with clean and functional rooms - a good choice for a short stay in a city style hotel
Pool is reasonable and bfast was good - rooms are not big but are clean and have all the necessary for a family, parking is convenient for the chateau etc

Traditional hotel with useful atrium on the bank of Loire river in the neighbourhood of police headquarters, parking available (and safety). Really good cuisine. But the best is the place - very short walk to the nice city center and Saturday market, to the Royal Castle (with nice night light show, even not so good comparing to Jerusalem´s David Tower), the magic house of Robert-Houdin, but also excellent starting place to Sancerre and Touraine greatest Sauvignons regions. If you love something special, buy the exciting helicopter flight over the vineyards and Loire Valley castles!
