I booked a room here with my husband and 2 year old daughter. It is walking distance to the chateau and to the centre ville. The reception was warm and friendly, and the hotel was very charming. We booked a table at their hotel restaurant which is a few blocks away and enjoyed a very excellent meal. The hotel breakfast was buffet style and quite good. Our room was on the 3rd floor. There are no elevators but this is not a problem because my daughter loves climbing stairs :) And anyway, it adds to the hotel's charm. Definitely recommend this place if you are nearby Blois.

We thank you for your note about our hotel and are happy to read that you enjoyed your stay.
Our restaurant is at 400 m by feet and suggests a french and local cuisine.
Now, the season is start so you can have a drink on our quiet and sunny terrace or rent bikes.
Best regards

We started an eight Loire Valley cycling trip here. The trip was one of the best holidays I have had, and this hotel was a great place to start it.

It has great location, great character, great everything.

Definitely a place to consider if it fits your budget - we bought a package from the cycling company, and didn't get to know room-night prices. But one of the things I am thankful to the cycling tour operator is the choice of this hotel to start with.

Room Tip: There are no lifts, as mentioned in one of the reviews.

Thank you for your note about our hotel.
We work with different agencies for cycling tours.
We have also bike renting in the hotel (contract can be made on place).
The bikes can 'sleep' inside our private garden (safe and closed).
We are on a quiet square with bar and terrace.
Best regards

We have had am overnight stay in a triple room on the 1st floor with balcony. Good amenities and nice view although we haven't really enjoyed much the room but rather biked the Loire.
The hotel offers rent a bike facilities but it's better to make a reservation in advance especially in the crowded season.

Dear Sir,
We thank you for your note about our hotel.
We rent bikes from March to October, you can made the contract in advance or on place.
If you book a room and want to rent bikes, it's better to book the bikes tas well because we have only 6 (3 men + 3 women).

Me, my sister and my friend have visited Loire Valley this summer. We hired a car and drove from Paris to Blois, where we decided to make our base for exploring the valley. We didn't make any hotel reservation beforehand, so when we arrived to Blois, it took it some time to find a hotel with available rooms. Near the Blois castle, on a quiet road we found Hotel Anne De Bretagne, a charming building, covered in flowers. The receptionist was extremely helpful in assisting us, and we checked in to our triple room on the second floor. We found the room to be very comfortable, with two bathrooms, clean and with nice design. Our windows overlooked the quiet street and the trailer park (we didn't hear a sound from there, though the park was rather fool with trailers of traveling families). The nights were so quiet, we wondered in the mornings that we haven't slept so well in years :). There was a distant sound of trains coming from the nearby railway, but I didn't find it at all disturbing. The hotel has a free parking space, so there's no problem with finding a place to park our car. Wifi connection was good as well, you just have to ask the reception for a password. We didn't try breakfasts at the hotel, because we chose to buy food from supermarket and eat on our way to various castles and towns. When we decided to stay two nights more, the hotel had to available rooms, though they proposed to locate us at their sister hotel nearby, which was also a nice small hotel too. I'd recommend this hotel for those to want to stay in a small authentic charming hotel with a French feel, which so well fits in the gem of Loire Valley-Blois.

Dear Christie,
We thank you for your note and are happy to read that you enjoyed your stay in our hotel.
Your room was a connecting family room.
We haven't got private parking so you where lucky to find a space just in front. Now, the public parking (500 m) is cheaper !
The breakfast is served as a continental buffet between 7.30 to 10 am.
Each winter, we ameliorate our corridors, rooms, furnitures... so don't hesitate to come bak !

Very beautiful hotel, the windows overlook castles.Though one word of caution is they have no lifts so carrying your luggage would be challenging. The rooms are not to big but done very tasefully. The hotel has got a lot of character to it so i would prefer it to anuy other standard hotel any day! It's close to the station. The castle is also a beautiul ten min walk. Just an awesome place to stay! Must must go....

Room Tip: Not on higher floors as there are no lifts / elevators.

Our family (2 adults and a 3 year old) spent 2 nights at the hotel during a short getaway from the hustle and bustle of Paris. It was very easy to book our hotel on-line and we received a prompt response from the hotel. The hotel is operated by the owners who also live on-site. The owners and staff are French but have lived in the UK, they are bilingual and very comfortable in providing directions in English, and gave helpful additional information and local knowledge about regional attractions not found in the guidebooks. As parents, they were also very much in tune to the needs of guests with children.

The hotel is located on a quiet street very close to the main castle in town and has its own private driveway with guest parking. It is also a comfortable walk from other attractions and restaurants, which made it an ideal location for us!

The building is constructed in the regional style and covered with a luxuriant and bright green cover made by wall crawling vines, which seemed like something right out of a charming fairy tale! The building has been carefully refurbished and updated by the owners so as to retain the traditional architecture but to also make it modern and practical: rooms with double-paned windows and electrical blinds as well as other energy efficient and ergonomic improvements. There are no elevators but accessible rooms are located on the groundfloor.

Breakfast, wifi and parking as I mentioned is included and were all excellent!

When next we visit the Loire Valley we'll be staying at Anne de Bretagne!

Room Tip: Standard and deluxe family rooms are available. Discounts are available in low season and the deluxe...
