Not on the main beat but worth the time to eat here. The house terrine was moist and tasty. The chicken was overcooked and a bit dry but the sauce compensated for that along with the gratin potatoes. The St. Pierre fish with rice was great. Tru Normand was tangy with sufficient Calvados. Medium priced.

Stopped off in Blois on our way to Normandy from Loire Valley. Parked at the chateau, car park pretty cheap parking and right in the centre of town. This little place was lovely, charming and service was great and super friendly! Lots to choose from, plus daily specials but as the owner is from Normandy lots of dishes on the menu influenced by flavours and ingredients from that region. We tried the fillet de St Pierre, Volaille Supreme with the potatoes covered in Camembert, the Croustiade de Canard with sauce foie gras all delicious. We ordered a carafe of Rose which was lovely and a steal at only 10 euros. They have a kids option albeit one but good with fresh oven potatoes and steamed chicken plus an array of ice creams, little one was happy.

We just enjoyed a lovely meal here, outside on a pleasant evening. The waiters were both friendly and accommodating to our needs: my partner can only manage a starter and dessert, which was not seen as an inconvenience.
My starter of snails in Camembert was superb and my main of croustillant de canard was tender yet perfectly crunchy all at once.
Try it, you'll love it!

We found this restaurant for lunch on a wet Thursday. We were made very welcome with our 2 dogs. The food was very good and the red mullet salad especially tasty. The waiter was a real character and kept everyone entertained. Do try it.

I telephoned to reserve from UK in advance, but was unnecessary on the night, but it is quite a small place (about 25 covers). It is a mix of Norman(Honfleur) and local dishes with twists which I felt worked well. There was a reasonably priced selection of wines and several "Specials" in addition to the standard menu. All were freshly cooked and piping hot. We were very happy with our meals at a price of under 90 Euros for 2.
