The hotel overlooks the River Loire, a few hundred yards from the town centre. The rooms were great for the price. The staff very relaxed and friendly. The food was amazing.

Blois was our first stop on a long trip throughout the Loire Valley and the north of France. Our stay at the Auberge Ligerienne was everything we expected and more from the Loire. We were in room 2 which was very comfortable and overlooked the Loire with a large double window. The room facilities were more than adequate with great wifi coverage, plenty of hot water, and a large bed. Breakfast offered eggs, meats, fruits, breads, juices, and coffee. The staff are very personable and took care of all our needs. Dinner at the auberge is a must if you want one of the great dining experiences you expect in the Loire. Finally, location, location, location: a short 5 minute walk to the center of Blois and other restaurants and shops, and excellent access to the regions chateaux.
We will definitely stay at Cote Loire Auberge Ligerienne on our return to the Loire and highly recommend it.

Our third floor room, though small, had everything we needed -- good sized bed, hot shower, wifi, tv, a tiny window.
The hotel is warm and cosy, with some nice touches to its shabby chic interiors.
Breakfast was nice, with choices of fruits, cheeses, and jams.
But the highlight of our stay was dinner at the highly-rated restaurant. We forgave the very slow service, because the food was delicious. We had the supreme de pintade, and carre d'agneau.
The dessert-- cake with chocolate syrup-- was divine too.

This was our first night of a long journey down through France to Southern Spain. What a find. Blois is a beautiful town on the Loire with loads to explore. We got one of the last rooms at the Auberge. The welcome was warm and the room though small (we were offered a larger one) was clean with a lovely bed and we slept like logs. The restaurant is a gem, the chef a wonder and it was rounded off with a wonderful selection of Armagnac. Lovely breakfast, this will be regular stop over for us.

Our room was small but clean and quiet. Nice location for exploring the town of Blois. The bathroom was tiny but adequate. We visited during the off-season so reception was open limited hours but hotel staff was cordial and efficient. (The limited hours were clearly communicated to us when we confirmed the reservation, so there were no surprises.)

I would definitely stay here again - it's an affordable way to explore the Loire Valley.

Stayed here one night on our way to Carcassonne. Very clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast and dinner. Can't really fault it for the price. Only down sides were the room we stayed in (2), had the tiniest bathroom, so if you are bigger than a size 14 uk size you'll struggle to move around in there. Sufficient for a short stay.

Room Tip: Have dinner here, it's very good and great value.

We loved this hotel. I stayed here with my husband and three children on our way down to the Dordogne for our family summer holiday. We took two rooms. V nice front desk staff, comfortable rooms, decent en-suite facilities. Not luxurious but perfectly comfortable. One of our rooms overlooked the Loire - completely gorgeous. Reservation was easy. Parking was easy - just outside the hotel in a pay & display car park. Yummy breakfast. Computer/internet available. Highly recommended. We ate at Au Coin du Table - separate review. Lovely market on Saturday morning.
