Stayed here one night in March 2012. I was attracted by the low price as I really just wanted a place to rest for the night (I paid 38€ including breakfast, the nearby alternative being the Novotel who wanted 120€ for the room only). I admit the building is a bit bunker like from the outside but given their modular construction thats fair enough. I think HotelF1 use the same building components and just scale the hotel up or down depending on location.
The lady on reception was pleasant and happy to answer questions posed to her in my average French. She explained how to access the room via an individual 6-digit keypad code. She explained breakfast timings and what the latest time was to vacate the room (a generous midday).
The room was very simple but generally very clean. The industrial carpet was a little marked but i'm sure it gets a lot of abuse. Everything else was fine. The free wifi worked faultlessly and was much appreciated. I could also watch the flatscreen tv. I could adjust the radiator or open the window to find a suitable room temp. The showers and WC's are in individual lockable cubicles just down the hall, there is also a handbasin in the room with a handtowel provided. I slept well, no complaints.

Breakfast was typical French fare served just to the side of reception in a little cafe area. Brioch, crusty french bread, butter, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, fruit compote (don't like it so didn't try it), 'fresh' orange (the only thing I didn't like - it tasted very watery and really needs improving).
For the little money paid I was very happy with what I got and will seek out HotelF1 again if they located where I am going. As a good value no-frills place to lay down for a night it's perfect.More
