Ate here late one friday evening with my husband and children in August. We were staying accross the road at the Mercure hotel and the restaurant was directly accross the street so we decided to have a look as the hotel restaurant looked rather basic. The restaurant wasn't busy but it was almost 10pm when we went in, but the staff were very welcoming. The decor was beautiful and the table settings and glasses perfect. On one wall was a flat screen tv showing the chef at work in the kitchen, the whole place was immaculate. and the chef's standards of hygene impeccable.
The manu was varied and we all enjoyed our meals. The steaks were perfect and cooked as requested with a variety of choices of accompanyments. The desserts were works of art and delicious too. The wine selection was good and reasonably priced as restaurants go.
My only criticism would be that Nespresso coffee is served rather than fresh, but it was still ok.
All in all a lovely experience which we will all be happy to repeat when next en-route from holiday destinations further south. Try it, you won't be dissappointed.
