The beds were extremely soft and comfortable!! The room was very nicely decorated, it had a homely feel to it. The bathroom was fine - the showers had a sign saying to run the hot water in the sink first (as mentioned by the review below) but it actually wasn't necessary.
There was no lift but, unless you are staying in 4 star hotels in Europe, that is often the case so we were well used to lifting our luggage up stairs by this point.
Overall, a very good experience!
We found this hotel in a Lonely Planet book. The staff was friendly, and knowledgeable about the area and that was the only pro. There is no elevator or luggage storage room, the manager offered her office to stow our bags, it was not secure and we ended up hauling our valuables on a day tour. The room reaked of stale cigarettes and the window did not open. The heater/ air conditioner in the room did not work. The shower was the worst we have ever seen, in order to heat the water you had to run the sinks hot water, then you pushed a button in the shower that shot out a mist of water for about thirty seconds. I would expect this from a hostel, not a 90 Euro/ night B&B. This was the worst value for our money for the entire trip. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
