Located on a seemingly quiet street, there is a small courtyard and the exterior is inviting. The lobby area is fine and my kids were intrigued with the circular stairs. However, that is where the charm ended. Our room was pure 1970's. Gold polyester bedspread looked like it had been there for years as did the laminate furniture. Sort of a surprise after you see the website photos of rooms with a bit more charm. The room was a fair size and there was A/C. The elevator is tiny, so one person at a time with a suitcase. The front desk personnel were very helpful, lending maps and dining suggestions. We stayed here as part of a cycling tour and given the choice, I would have paid more money to be closer to Old Town -- which is the place to go in Tours. We walked there and it was about 10-15 minutes, but it would have been more fun to be right in the heart of it. Our quiet side street turned quite loud around midnight with motorcycles zooming up and down.
