Out of town, along the river, by the park, you'll find this 18th century manor. Our large room full of stylish furnishings and full bed with high quality fabrics. Modern bathroom with all amenities. Spa & steam bath was quite refreshing. Restaurant menu was limited but very good. Staff, welcoming and helpful. Free parking on site.
PS. When you want to splurge, this is the place to do it.

Last time we stayed was in November and it began to snow, this time was equally magical , and we dined on the terrace overlooking the magnificent gardens in the height of summer. It is a super stopping off point while travelling to and from the South, or a lovely base while visiting the chateaux of the Loire. Last time we stayed in a fabulous huge room overlooking the gardens, this time (for the same price!) we were in a much smaller room, i.e. room for double bed ! However, both were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The dinner was quite superb, and it really was a gastronomique experience. |The two gentlemen who ran the dining, were most professional and the service was superb. The only slight sour point was our greeting from the Sunday evening receptionist, which was somewhat perfunctory and later when we asked if someone could go and sort out the plug in the bathroom which was stuck, she was extremely offhand (ok rather rude) and nothing had been done when we returned to the room. However, the two super ladies manning Reception on MOnday morning when I paid the bill were absolutely delightful! Hoteliers - however fabulous the place, food etc, these little things are what your guests remember !

We were 2 adults and 1 child. Spent 1 night here while touring the Loire Valley on a self-guided bike tour. Was a warm atmosphere for an overnight - nice dinner and breakfast. Our room was lovely and spacious, including a large bathroom - much appreciated.

The chateau is on a main road and has no view or grounds of interest. There is a heated pool but it is plastic lined (quite 'obviously') and the outside area around it is cramped. We were welcomed by the male host who we never saw again despite being there for 2 days. We were a party of 3 and 2 had given several weeks notice of not being able to eat gluten. First night canapés were pâté on bread, starter was on pastry, pudding was sponge based. Breakfast was bread based. Very Disappointing. On day 2 they made more of an effort after I pointed it out to them and they admitted they gad forgotten. Rooms were fine but we just had the feeling that the place was run to help the owners live there for 6 mths of the year rather than because they loved the house or loved having guests. We had very different experiences in other places during our stay so were able to make a proper comparison. It is cheaper than other places so the overall value is fine and the food was good. Hosts were nice just not the same rapport/passion as others ?

Charming Chateau with beautiful countryside centrally located in Tours. Although this is listed as only a three-star hotel - I found it to be quite lovely and quaint. We were there on a bike tour through the area and I thought the staff was friendly and accomodating. The food was also very good. Would recommend this Chateau for a nice French experience!
