Luckily we were driving here in the daytime as at night I think you'd have no chance of finding it. The hotel is located on a 'new development' aka mainly a building site for a new light railway out of the centre of Tours. While we were waiting at the undermanned reception, the receptionist seemed to be busy dealing with an irate driver who was obviously finding it impossible even to find the direction signs, unsurprising really as they were just very small black and white postcards attached to endless roundabouts.
The rooms were ok if you like tangerine paint but not as nice as they look on the web and one of our rooms had a horrible smell of damp. I think there must be different categories of room as ours only had one shower and some of them did look as though they might be larger especially if you are staying for longer than one night.. Bed fairly comfortable but you wouldn't want want to share the 'double' or be tall as it's tiny. We decided to pay extra for the 'secure' parking— big mistake— it is so secure that neither my husband nor the receptionist could open the door the following morning meaning we had a delayed start to our onward trip with no real idea if or when we would get our car back. The hi-tech systems seemed to have gone a bit haywire as we also had problems with our room key cards and couldn't get into our rooms.
The staff were a bit harassed and frankly a lot of the guests there seemed to be having some problem or another. Breakfast was fine but expensive. There must be better places to use as a stopover, wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed here mid August 2012. We caught the ferry from Dover to Calais on route to the dordogne, and decided that Tours would be a good overnight location.

We found this hotel online and liked the idea of the kitchenette, so ended up booking a studio and 1 bedroom apartment - for the 6 of us (3 adults & 3 teenagers).

The day before our stay I recieved a phone call informing me they had an issue with our apartment and offered us 3 studios instead for the same price, and as an apology offered us free breakfast. I was suitably happy with they dealing of the situation, so readily agreed - it also gave us an extra bathroom which turned out to be a bonus!

We arrived at 22:00 hrs and did struggle a little to find parking as there is building works going on around the hotel, however this was soon resolved and we checked in quickly and easily.

We were all hungry after a long journey and we found a Subway sandwich store 2 minutes walk away so within 20 minutes of arriving we were checked in and eating supper.

The rooms are a good size, with a good shower and hot water even at 22:00hrs which was greatly recieved. Beds are quite low - I have bad knees and have undergone multiple operations on them - but once in the bed it was very comfortable with a really good duvet and 2 generous pillows per person which was excellent for a good nights sleep.

My only issue with the room was that it was hot and no a/c. This is my fault as I did not think to check and is definatly something to bear in mind.

The hotel is a way out from the Town centre, but for us it was a base for an overnight stop so that did not bother us - we actually wanted ease of access from the motorway - which this hotel provided.

Breakfast is quite expensive - €13 per person, but ours was compped so very enjoyable.

All in all I would recommend for an overnight stop, but probably not longer than that.

Did not like it. It is far from the city center, hard to locate, the sourroundings are quite new but isolated. Our room was not very clean. Bad quality of the furniture, beds, etc. Would not recommend it. Upside was the staff, quite helpful and professional.

This is a great brand new Park & suites, it's in the University area and away from the city centre but for us we were travelling through so it suited us. Next door is a Cimema complex with retail shops & there is a huge Carrefour Supermarket a short drive away. The room actually has two shower rooms, 1 bedroom and a living area with a sofa bed. Parking was available too either underground or in the car park next to the building through a gate. We liked this so much we have stayed at 3-4 more park & suites on our trip.
