We arrived in tours late afternoon and went to the tourist centre who then found this accomodation for us. There was free parking opposite and the room was clean and spacious. It was only a 10 minute walk to the restaurant distinct. Be sure to stop at the most beautiful basilica we have ever seen .

Bonjour!

We thank you very much for taking the time to post your review on tripadvisor. All the more so since you stayed only one night with us!

We are very happy you found our hotel to be a confortable place for a stopover and thank you for your comments.

Also, you are right to tip the other travellers about the basilica: it is an architectural beauty, that is at least as much worth a visit as is the cathedral.

Hoping to welcome you again on another occasion,

With Kind Regards,

The Reception/ M.

We stayed at this hotel two nights in July. The hotel staff (I only know Mercedes' name) was very helpful. I was not expecting a lot from a two-star hotel but this hotel proved to be a much more than a two-star one. There is a small but a nice terrace for breakfast. The parking in front of the hotel is quite easy. The hotel is at a walking distance from main attractions in Tours. We stayed there to visit few Loire chateaus around (Chambord, Chenonceau, Clos Lucé). I highly recommend this hotel who are going to stay in this area

Also sorry about the missing toilet paper on your arrival... you are kind enough not to mention it, but we have kept the thing in mind!

We stayed in Tours at the end of our short Loire valley cycling trip. We arrived hot and tired before check in time had opened, but were checked in promptly and given access (and clear directions) to a secure garage to store our bikes. Our luggage had already been delivered to our room on the second floor. The room was very spacious, with a sleek, modern bathroom and lots of natural light. Bedding was comfortable and we heard nothing from outside the room. The location is excellent - a short walk to the station and a nice base to meander around Tours. It's in a completely different class to the other 2-star hotel we stayed at on this trip. I'd definitely return, both to Tours and to the Hotel Mirabeau.

Bonjour!

We thank you very much for sharing your feedback. We value your opinion and your satisfaction truly is the greatest reward for our work.

We know how worn out our cycling customers are when they arrive, and do our best to ensure the swiftest possible checkin!

Also your comment on the lack of noise is especially important to us as you stayed in a room giving directly onto the boulevard. We do think our windows are as soundproof as can be (or at least as we could find)... Your experience seems to prove they are efficient enough!

The whole team thanks you for trusting Hotel Mirabeau.

We whall be delighted to welcome you again on another occasion.

With Kind Regards,

The Reception/ M

We did not know what to expect from a 2 star hotel (in South Africa a 2 star hotel is less than basic) and were a bit reluctant to book at the Hotel Mirabeau, but they had such good TripAdvisor reviews. The rooms must have been recently renovated - everything was spotless and the decor really nice. The en-suite shower was spacious ; I liked the fact that the toilet was in a separate toilet closet. It is relatively close to the station and Tourism information office.

Room Tip: The windows are double glazed, so sound is not an issue. The rooms are grouped in closed off passages.

Bonjour!

We thank you very much for sharing your review on tripadvisor. It was a real pleasure welcoming you, and we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us.

We are working hard to be what we think is "a good" 2 star hotel, a place where the rooms are nice, clean, where the services remain basic but good. We are very happy that you appreciated our dedication to cleanliness.

Your satisfaction is our greatest reward. And the whole team at hotel Mirabeau thanks you yet again for having chosen to stay with us.

With Kind Regards,
The reception/M

We stayed 4 nights in mid June. We had Rm 17 - on the top floor in the back. It was very comfortable and clean and overlooked adjacent rooftops and the breakfast garden below. Very quiet and a good temperature, although it might be hot if the weather weren't so mild. (It was too cold to eat outside when we were there, but the breakfast room looks out on the charming garden. Decent breakfast. A bit of a long walk to the historic area, but my sisters were staying right in that area and it was very noisy. Wifi was a bit iffy in our room but fine in the public areas and probably in the more central rooms. All in all a very good choice.

Bonjour!

We thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback on tripadvisor.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. It's a shame the weather wasn't too good last month, as we couldn't yet serve breakfast in the courtyard!

Your rightly noticed that we do not have airconditionning, we do provide fans in all the rooms when the days become hot (as it is the case now). We do believe that given our climate, airconditionning is not really required.

We thank you for having chosen to stay with us,

With Kind Regards,

The Reception/ M
