“Yummy food, great location”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

Fab cafe/restaurant. We sat outside and watched the world go by. Lovely grub. The carbonara was to die for. Excellent selection of wine/champagnes and reasonably priced. Ambience 9/10. Friendly service.

“Typical city cafe”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

Nothing special, we stopped for a coffee and next , day returned for a snack lunch. Pleasant sitting outside watching the world go by.
We had the Croque Madame which was ok and fries which were very good as was the coffee. Reasonable prices

“Average alfresco”
Reviewed 15 June 2014 via mobile

All I can say is most of the attraction is the terrace which is heaving anytime the sun shines .., lunchtime salads are the best option . The perigord is delish and unusual ... Service can be very slow when the terrace is busy .. And it can also be in serious need of a sweep .. Pomme frites scattered all over the floor often !
It's a good average option for lunch au soleil .. But nothing more

“Always crowded...not sure why”
Reviewed 6 June 2014

This place is always heaving & appears equally popular with locals and tourists, but it served an ordinary lunch with cursory service and a frenetic and slightly seedy atmosphere. It's not awful, but you can do better.

“Rude service”
Reviewed 23 May 2014 via mobile

We only stopped for a drink and as the sun was shining thought it would be nice to sit outside in the sun with a beer. The waiter was dismissive as soon as we sat down not at all helpful, took ages to return with 2 small beers. The beer was cold and over priced should have walked by!
