This place is worth the few extra Euros. It's a beautiful French style guest house, a short walk from Avenue de Champagne. It has a pleasant lounge area with some interesting art. We stayed in the Provencal room which was cosy and comfortable on an icy cold and snowy weekend. The breakfast is excellent - high quality and generous. The (free) secure car park is a real bonus. Free and reliable wifi also.

This charming little hotel in a not so charming street was a haven for us after driving from London. Madame Raymi and her staff were very helpful. The 'Coloniale' room was decorated in a French eclectic style and had all we needed. Wifi was great. We were the only guests so it was quiet for us but can imagine it being noisy if there were others staying. Perhaps a little expensive but all in all a very positive experience.

Our first stop after 24 hours on a plane. Easy to find, located on beautifully maintained property. We stayed in a lovely large room (Toscane), friendly hosts. Breakfast was nice but expensive. Probably better value in town (which is only a two minute walk). Good parking.

Room Tip: Toscane was large and comfortable. Its on the first floor.

Nice hotel with clean and nice rooms. Each different room has a different style. Very helpful and serviceminded staff! Parking in walled in area. Pretty good location with a few minute walking distance to the central area of Epernay.

Really hard to be subjective about reviewing this hotel, feel it is one of those places you will either love or dislike. No half measures. It is easy to locate and we had a very pleasant welcome from the lady on reception.

Located slightly on the edge of Epernay, the parking is within the grounds of the house with electric gates which are closed at night. So secure parking, which unusually is free, is a real bonus. The walk into the town is only about 10 minutes, and there is plenty of choice of restaurants the town.

I personally completely agree with a previous reviewer who said it was more of a b&b than a hotel. There is no lift, which could be a serious problem if you were not aware of this and also be aware there are steps up to the front door; there is no bar or any other leisure facilities one would normally associate with a hotel. It seems to be like a lovely old house that has been converted to accommodate guests.

The decor generally is ok if seemingly put together rather than having any theme, but the bedroom we had on the top floor was small, tired and dull. The shower room was adequate. Everything was spotlessly clean, and maybe because we were on the top floor we had no noise issues as other people have reported. In fact it was very peaceful.

We paid €115 and feel this is really at the top end for the accommodation provided. This price does not include breakfast which at €15 per person we declined.

We stayed at this hotel following a recommendation. We only stayed one night. It's a traditional French building and the interior decor is nice. The absence of any substantial floor coverings does however mean that you can hear everything going on within the building.

The smell of freshly baked pastries was a wonderful wake up call. The parking is secure and the location in Epernay means you are a short walk to the town centre but away from much noise (apart from that in the building).

On the downside the bathroom fittings are quite dated and the main bathroom had obviously been fitted around existing fittings.

It was a nice stay but the price was the one sticking point. It's on the pricey side and mainly due to this I'd be willing to try other places in the vicinity.

If you want French charm and living this is it. Put aside that you can hear most things and the shower just about wets the whole bathroom and you have a typical French experience. The locations is great, easy walking and Moët is right behind the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding with attentive staff.
