This boutique chain offers an excellent one/two night stopover option: not a lot of character but it does exactly what it says on the tin. I've little to add to previous posts. A large room; heavy-duty double-glazing eliminating all traffic and railway noise; separate toilet; fridge and microwave; good wifi. Staff very friendly. Inadequate adjacent gated parking area, but plenty of (paid) parking in the street, or use the railway station car parks. A short walk to the city centre via the station underpass, reached by turning left out of the hotel. The one negative was the EUR12 breakfast, which was neither good value, nor typically French. We bought in juice and croissants (refreshed in the microwave) the night before, with some cups of the excellent free lobby coffee.

I'm surprised that no-one on here has mentioned the little Musee de la Reddition (Surrender) almost opposite the hotel (to the right) in the school buildings. This is where the Allies took the German surrender in May 1945 (VE Day). Eisenhower had his HQ in Reims. There's a very nicely done little exhibition, with a film in English, and you can see the original map-room where the armistice was signed off.

The hotel is 5 minutes on foot by the central station, not to close from the downtown, but in 10-15 minutes walking you reach there. The rooms although not so big, have a very good space and are very well planned. You can even have a bath tube. The staff is ok, not special, but they do what you need. Very clean, free Internet. But the speed sucks. The gim is not so good, only a treadmill, a bicycle and a Transpond. But I really could stay there again if in Reims and strongly recommnend, although you have by half of the price another hotel from the same chain just beside the train station. Other point is the hotel is quite new, what make it more comfortable.

This is a modern hotel near the city centre of Reims, which is about a 10 minute walk. The hotel is next to the station and you have to walk through the station (or slightly further around late at night) to get across the rails to the centre. Though slightly weird, this was easy and only took about 10 minutes. The hotel is modern and we found the room clean and well looked after, with plenty of room for 2 adults and a 4 year old. Though the hotel is next to the train station we heard no noise from the trains at all. There is car parking too which is convenient. We had breakfast, which was ok, but a bit over priced, but meant we could get going quickly. The staff also speak English.

My only gripe would be that I couldn't get the free wifi working on my iPod !

Note that Reims city centre is one big roadworks at the moment, so traffic is slow getting into the city.

Initial disappointment at not getting into hotel car park evaporated as new bright car park under cover for station right next to hotel. Hotel reception will provide a ticket. Rooms clean and comfortable. Excellent double glazing and air con so never heard a train despite being next to station. Walk into town through station although it closes around 10 so check out alternative route through well lit park to restaurants and bars - just a 10 minute walk.

Excellent shower in modern bathroom. Didn't have breakfast. Reception spoke English. Very efficient and friendly.

The hotel has a very good concept - clean, modern, good amenities. Very well isolated - the room is very, very quiet and the beds and the pillows were comfortable - ensuring good night sleep. It isvery well located - close to bars and restaurants, shops and monuments.

Free and secured parking.

Very friendly staff and speaking good English.

Stayed one night en route to Switzerland. Reims city centre is divided by the main railway lines and the train station. The main street for restaurants and bars is on one side of the lines and this hotel is in a newly developed area on the opposite side of the tracks. It is a 10 minute stroll through (under) the railway station to the town, and about another 10 minutes from there to the cathedral and older sites in town.

The hotel has large rooms / suites with modern finishes. The toilet / shower / bathroom / wardrobe are all built in modular units and free stand within the rooms. There was also a sink, microwave and fridge built into one of the modualr units. The room had a large double bed and a sofa bed, a desk and renough space to add another single bed if needed. The room can be divided by sliding blinds to separate the double bed from the sofa bed area. The room has an interactive TV / DVD / Internet system. All services (internet and premium movies) are included in the room rate.

The hotel has secure parking for about 15 cars at the side of the hotel, and there is a public multi story car park within 3 minutes walk.

This was a good stop over hotel, but not the ideal location if you were to use it as a base for several days. Good value for money, and recommended for those travelling with family as the room size will easily accomodate 4 people

The Suitehotel was pretty new and so everything was nice and clean. The rooms were basically built from plastic but were perfectly comfortable and clean so no real complaints. It was a bit awkward to get to from the town centre - you have to walk through and rond the train station but no real inconvenience.

Breakfast was fairly average but typical of most hotels in France. Free wifi wasn't working but we could use the TV system for it. You also got free movies which was a nice touch.
