Food was very good and was Italian with a French flair (in my opnion since it had a lot of duck on the menu). Had the duck canneloni with truffles and it was very good. So was the fresh tagliatelle pasta with scallops. The buffalo mozzarella appetizer is something you can share because it is a big portion.

Now, service was good when you could get it. There are three people working there and they run around like crazy taking orders, delivering plates, clearing plates, etc. However; watching them there seems to be no organized way on how they do this...its like they just do whatever they see first and so half of the restaurant can be ignored if they can't take their eyes off the side that they have their view on.

I spent a romantic evening out with my wife and cose La Trattoria as the place to go to.
We didn't make any advance booking, however, you should if you want to be sure the find a place.
The restaurant is with a rather modern furnishing close to the Notre Dame of Reims. Food is Italian.
We had a plate of different salamis and hams for starters and then the bruschetta and carpaccio with penne and basil for dinner. All choices were excellent. The service was as good as the food and we even got the explanations we needed in some cases.
The overall experience was one of the best we ever had.
I can truly recommend this place.

We stumbled across this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon in between visiting Champagne Houses. We decided the menu looked nice and booked a table for that evening. We're glad we did! We've never tasted a cheese soufflé like the one we had for the starter...amazing! Main courses were also sublime. Two of our party had the fish lasagne....we were still talking about it the next day! Desert was lemon meringue pie...again, absolutely beautiful. Coupled with the great atmosphere and the lovely red wine, it was a great end to a great day. Would whole heartedly recommend this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

The restaurant was very attractive, with a very coordinated, contemporary interior. It looked very sophisticated. The menu did have some items in English. The Italian food was good, but on the expensive side. The service was slow and not very friendly. We were basically ignored for most of the dinner, finally having to go find someone for the check. Would definitely try somewhere else the next time.

This was simply won if the best meals we had in France. the three of us had pasta dishes. They were all excellent.

Staff were very attentive and the place had a nice vibe. Even better our twenty yr old bought dinner. :-)
