Good hotel for one night stay at reasonable price, located close to highway crossing. avoid if you stay more than one night, room is very tiny and uncomfortable. The hotel restaurant was closed for dinner. good value for money.

After 7 hours drive up we were looking forward to a simple overnight stop with a bit of food. I haven't checked out yet so won't be able to comment on that part but just had to write whilst it was fresh in mind.

Location: it's not the hotel's fault that there are major reconstruction work going on, but getting here was a nightmare after turning off the motorway. Eventually found it and there is a nice secure looking car park, big banners advertising the restaurant, the exterior looked a bit cheap but no real issues.

Check-in: very quick and simple, until I asked what time dinner was. With a shrug of the shoulders the receptionist informed me that dinner was not possible tonight, it's closed. This is with the big banner saying open every day. Tired and discontent we had to head back out in the car to find some food.

Room: Back in and discovered we were in a matchbook sized room. This is the third stop over in this trip and the smallest room of the lot [although not the smallest price unfortunately]. Flooring is a hard lino style and bathroom is tiny, you cannot towel off without banging elbows into doors and walls. Hot powerful shower was the only saving grace. Ambient noise is ridiculous. I'm sat at the moment on the bed listening word by word to the conversation next room over, it's as if they are in the same room. I'd hesitate a guess that they can probably hear me typing... not good.

This one will definitely not be on my repeat list!

Stayed overnight after driving from the south. Brand new. Great staff. Lovely clean rooms. Right by the A4/A26 for Calais(2.5 hours away). Great for stopover, maybe not as visit base. Restaurant limited but I do not think this hotel sees itself as a 'destination', more akin to motel but excellent room quality.

This hotel is good for an overnight stay....Check in is at noon but we arrived early and the staff were accomodating and got our room ready within 15 minutes. The staff were extrememly helpful and they organized a taxi which picked us up within 10 minutes as our french isn't good.
On the whole this place is good value for money but remember that this place is on an Industrial park miles out of town but it does have two restaurants at the end of the road..If you want a nightlife there is no metro nor bus service from this location....

I would not recommend this hotel. It was in the middle of an industrial estate, very far away from the main centre of Reims. The receptionist was very rude and unhelpful. The room smelt of smoke. We left as we were utterly disappointed with room and staff and location.

Room Tip: Don't stay here!

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Reims, in an industrial park. We were well prepared with maps and sat nav, so it wasn’t too difficult to find, but I recommend a bit of forward planning if you intend to stay here. It sits in its own fenced grounds, with plenty of free car parking at the front of the hotel.

We received a warm welcome from the charming receptionist, who spoke English well enough to explain what we needed to know, including details of the free wifi internet that is available.

The room was very small indeed for two people, and I suspect they are identical throughout the hotel. It was furnished with a double bed, a couple of shelves and a small desk/shelf with two hard chairs. The TV was small and came with 18 channels – all in French.

The bed was low, and very hard indeed, which meant that I didn’t sleep at all that night. In the evening, the hotel was noisy at first since you can hear people in the bar area, flushing toilets in surrounding rooms, closing doors, etc. It did quieten down later on, however.

The bathroom was small, but had a good strong shower.

As others have said, there are four restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel, including the hotel’s own. We intended to try one of the two Chinese buffet restaurants nearby, both of which looked very nice from the outside. However, our limited grasp of French (when it comes to Chinese foodstuffs) meant that we gave them a miss and went to the nearby steakhouse (Courtepaille) where we had one of the most disappointing meals we’ve ever had in France. We cannot recommend it.

Back at the hotel, the breakfast was a continental style buffet that offered plenty of options: cereals, fruit juices, toast, preserves, croissants, bread rolls, ham, cheese, eggs, milk, coffee, etc.

We paid 58 Euros for the night, including breakfast for us both. This was a discount rate, since we booked well in advance.

For a place to lay your head for one night, as you travel elsewhere, this is a good option and offers good value, as long as you don’t mind a hard bed!
