French cuisine at its best, the flavours reminiscent of the country cooking of the region. Helpful and friendly service. Elegant and sophisticated surroundings.

The food was good, and the Service friendly. But the decoration and ambience was old and boring. Bill was unexpensive though. I guess it is a good value if all you care about is the gaste of the food.

We were a group of 9 eating at Le Spark whilst on a weekend break in Champagne.
It is situated ideally, close to the main town centre and the cathedral.
There was an excellent "menu champenois" that several of us chose; others ate a la carte.
In all cases the food was really good; authentic French cuisine, with good portions.
Some reviews had said that the wine was expensive, but we did not find it so - a decent house red for €24 and a Louis Latour white for €28.
The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
We had no problem with the ambience.
Thoroughly recommend.

Came here with friends and children for New Year's Eve meal. Selected here mainly because one of few places open.

Set 7 course OK but expensive- wine breathtakingly expensive- cheapest bottle nearly 40 euro. But what put a real damper on the night were the other guests. Never seen a dining room so full of miserable people.

One of the first things we did after arriving in Reims was to check out the restaurants. A quick survey of the dubious "Italian" restaurants along the main strip convinced us to look elsewhere. Le Foch was highly recommended on the local website, but already fully booked when we made our way there in the afternoon. Just a few steps away was Le Spark. We managed to secure a reservation for 7 p.m.
When we arrived at the appointed time, we found ourselves the first party to arrive. Other diners drifted in much later. Service was prompt. It was a no brainer when I saw the "lobster" degustation menu and the bargain price - 39 euros for a veritable feast. I asked the dessert to be changed to another item on the a la carte menu and it was accommodated. My decision to switch was a good one as everyone fell in love with it - yes, my other dining companions tucked into my serving to get a taste themselves.
The wine list was extensive enough to offer lots of gems and reasonable as well. We enjoyed the dinner so much, we returned to the restaurant again on our last night in Reims. The waitress remembered us and gave us great service. Since my husband speaks fluent French, that helped too.
