Flo came as a recommendation from our hotel as "gastronomic", and from the look of the place we were very much looking forward to our meals. Unfortunately we were quite disappointed. First up, they took a while to bring our drinks, which they served with croutons and an aubergine mousse. We barely had time to eat one crouton when our food was on it's way, so the waiter just removed the still-full plate without saying a word (Thanks for taking something away as swiftly as you offered it). Our Steak Tartare arrived next, and I honestly thought it should be a dish that is hard to screw up. I was wrong. The fries (pommes frites) were cold and really unappetising (obviously from frozen), the salad was swimming in dressing which itself was too heavy in what I would guess was red wine vinegar (I flinched with every mouthful) and the steak Tartare was tasteless and lacked any beef flavour, with bits of grissle throughout (I use better quality mince meat to make a bolognaise sauce). The only thing that was good was how quickly they brought the bill - without the chocolates that I'd seen them leave for other tables around us. I wouldn't go back here.
