We stayed here one night while passing through, a bit difficult to find but after a couple of attempts our sat nav took us to the front door, which is in a narrow lane, and actually where we left our car for the night. Hotel was not busy, so able to pick and choose our room - avoiding lugging suitcases too far up rickety stairs! Rooms large enough, impeccably clean with nice bathroom, but as is usually the case with french hotels, no tea/coffee making facility, and strangely for this price bracket no bottled water. No bar downstairs, though could have had a glass of somewhat overpriced wine brought into the lounge from the restaurant, so gave that a miss. Menu for the restaurant looked very good, and with hindsight perhaps should have pushed the boat out and eaten in. It looked a bit pricey, so we enjoyed a walk into town, but probably could have picked a better place to eat, allways a bit of a gamble when there are so many to choose from. Service at breakfast was very good - slightly small room - and choice was adequate. It is a fine old building, which must have cost a fortune to restore, so explains the high prices, but there was just something missing, and not sure I would be tempted back on a return visit.

We thank you to have taken time to write your feedback,

We are ideally located in the heart of the historic center.
It's free and authorize to park just in front of and all around the hotel.

Our rooms from 20 to 50 m2 provide comfortable bathrooms with Salerne tiles.

Now, you have an half bottle of Vittel in each room.

A bar service is carried out until midnight in your room or in our lounge room which is arranged in a lovely vaulted stone cellar.

Our Chief selects fresh and quality products from organic agriculture.

Our breakfast is made up of 18 organic and fresh products (bread, butter, yogurt, croissant, honey, dried fruits, cereals, fresh squeezed orange juice...)

Looking forward to welcoming you again during a next stay to Troyes.

Like many others we stayed in this hotel as a convenient stopover whilst driving across France. It is in the most glorious old building, but would not suit those who struggle with steps and stairs. The staff were very pleasant, the room and bathroom were spacious, comfortable and well furnished although a little more attention to the housekeeping in our room to replace the missing toiletries and broken light bulb would have been welcome. It was easy to park outside and the very beautiful, medieval centre of Troyes is immediately to hand. Breakfast? Well at 18 euros per person a VERY ordinary breakfast felt VERY pricey! How silly of this lovely, but expensive hotel not to include an improved breakfast in their rates and so avoid having their guests leave feeling a little out of sorts!

Room Tip: They do have a downstairs room with a walk-in shower, but access to this involves quite a lot of up and down stairs!

We enjoyed our stay at this delightful hotel. It is a refurbished medieval building, and we were lucky enough to stay in the loft or attic space. This was a large open plan room with a bathtub and sink at one end and a sitting area at the other. Highly recommend the restaurant.

The location was close to the cathedral and art museum, and an easy walk to the pedestrian area of the town.

Room Tip: There is some variety in the rooms, so you may wish to ask for a suite if you prefer extra space and comfort.

We stayed here upon recommendation of a friend and it was great!
We were driving home through France and stopped over here for the night, was glad to get a bed after a long day.

The hotel is in a very peaceful and tranquil area. I was happy to be able to park outside and not have to worry about the car being damaged etc. In fact the room luckily looked right onto where we parked so that was a bonus.

The breakfast in the morning was superb, up there amongst the best I've had in a hotel.

Stayed in May 2012, will come back.

Room Tip: Get one that looks onto your car parked outside!

We stayed one night in this hotel on the drive from Calais to Lyon, and wish we had stayed longer. Our room (Marinot) was spotless, with a very comfortable bed and splendid view, and very quiet. Everyone in the hotel was charming and helpful. The half timbered building and lovingly itself is beautifully restored.

The reasons we gave this four stars not five were firstly that we thought it a little expensive, though hotels in France tend to be. then there are three other comments, which may be specific to the room we were in, which we would bring to other travellers' attention, though they did not affect us - the room is up steep stairs, without a lift, and someone who was disabled or had trouble walking would find it very difficult; the bathroom was built into the original roof of the building, and because of the low ceiling there was no shower (but a big and comfortable bath); and finally there was no room safe.

We would certainly go back if we were anywhere near Troyes,

We thank you to have taken time to write your feedback,

All our rooms are equipped with a "Tréca 5 clé" beddings.

Indeed, our room "Marinot" offers a lovely view on the Modern Art Museum's garden.

Buildings from 15th and 16th Century, classified and renovated by "Les Compagnons du Devoir" cannot allow a lift, that's why we have some rooms on the ground floor.

All our rooms will be shortly equipped with a safe.

Looking forward to welcoming you again during a next stay to Troyes
