The hotel is located immediately opposite the port, so ideally positioned if you're traveling on the ferry. The rooms are fairly basic, but I loved the bar/restaurant on the ground floor, and I found the staff extremely helpful.

Room Tip: Traffic noise might be a problem at the front of the hotel, so if you're a light sleeper ask for...

As in the title, for what and where it is, the price is good.

The downsides are that the room is poorly laid out, blankets are stale and itchy, and the pillows rock hard. If you dont mind these, then it's a good hotel.

Even more so with free breakfast (although very basic). Also free workable wi-fi!

One other thing to note, the older receptionist just flat-out refused to speak English. It was obvious she knew some but couldn't be bothered when it was clear we were struggling to communicate. Be warned to brush up on your French!

We spend two nights here; the rooms are very basic, we had one in the back which was good to avoid street noise, but the room was a bit dark. Beds were good, bathroom functioning fine. If you don't sleep with ear plugs, you may suffer a bit from noise late in the evening or early in the morning depending if your neighbours arrive late or have to get up early.

Friendly staff, breakfast is your usual basic bread and butter. Their usual customers out on the terrace or at the bar (the hotel doubles as a cafe) were actually very friendly and helpful to point us to the reception and breakfast in the morning.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the front as they have nice big windows with lots of light coming in.

WE stayed for two nights in the hotel. I found the price of 80 Euro per night rather high, but it was impossible to find another place cheaper with rooms available.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, internet was available for free, the breakfast ok. The best asset of the hotel is it location opposite of the port and close to the main shopping street and the rest of the city centre.
The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, the windows have double glass for isolation. The bathrooms are slightly outdated, everything in brown which give you the feeling you're back in the 70's. Anyway, I am from the 70's so I felt comfortable there!

Travelling alone so I had a single room and only stayed one night (if I had been booked for more than one night I would have moved). It is convenient for the ferries, railway station and bus station. And I just ran out of good things to say. My room was reached via a little warren of dark, dark corridors with timer switches for the lights that I struggled to find. Once I got my door open I found a black, black room and it took me ages to find the light switch which was three quarters hidden behind the wardrobe. Very small room - window looked out onto an inner lightwell with not much light. Breakfast was included but there was little worth eating (croissant undercooked). All this would have been OK except it wasn't that cheap - cost as much as the pleasant hotel in Calvi.

Nice small hotel, very close from the ferry. Offer early breakfast, nice restaurant with typical foodd (try the Rouget and the charcuterie corse, delicious). Rooms are quiet small but very quiet. The hotel is very well located, walking distance to evry interresting area in Ajaccio.

Room Tip: ask for room away from main street
