Fabulous hotel in Fontainebleau. Huge room, beautifully presented, clean, the most comfortable bed in our whole trip to France. The staff were very helpful and spoke English which was helpful. The location was excellent, just across the road from the Chateau and restaurants are very close. Parking is across the street in an underground carpark and is easily accessible to the hotel via a lift. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Historical place, great location in Fountainebleau. A little far from Paris but worth it if you are not there to party. The hotel was very nice and clean, not your typical hotel, staff was extremely helpful, would definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone going there. Rooms and bathrooms were nice, big and clean. suitable for families as well.

Room Tip: try to get a room facing the front

Used booking.com to get a room in Fontainbleau. This place is well situated! Public parking garage is across the street for 12eur/day, about a 2 minute walk from car to room. The chateau is right across the street, and the majority of restaurants are within 3 minutes walk.

Hotel itself is impressive; building dates back to mid-16th century. Interesting wall decoration; fabrics in prints. Might not be for everyone. Room was enormous! We arrived with 7 year old son in tow; he always sleeps on the floor in his sleeping bag unless we get a triple. The desk guy made an effort to find us what he thought would be a better room, but no luck at 2200h. Didn't matter, there was room for a 2nd queen bed in there!

We skipped the 18eur breakfast per person; 7 for kids. Went across the street and had a coffee & croissant, just as good.

Staff were helpful, and appeared to be extremely multi-lingual.

Great experience, I'd stay here again.

Stayed here a couple of times, both times ok and unremarkable.

Rooms are clean and comfortable and individual - nothing like a chain hotel which is good if you like that.

honesty bar in the lobby which is good but the choice is very limited....not very good wine selection.

Breakfast ok - typical continental - everything good quality.

would recommend if you are staying in Fontainebleau for INSEAD or otherwise

I checked in at 10 & had to come back because the room are not ready. He said 3 pm.

After going around and came at 3.15, they said room are not ready. After wait for another 15 minutes, he said not is ok. When I came to the room, there's a lady still cleaning the room.

After I said that I wanted to move to other hotel, he said he has another room.

Room was fine size because it's upgraded. But very basic

We stayed for one night. It is situated in the heart of a lovely town. The staff were very welcoming. The room was lovely and quiet. The breakfast was superb - the choice was amazing - anything you wanted!
The parking was not on site but you can park not far from the hotel.

Room Tip: We asked for one at the back of the hotel to make sure it was quiet.

Each room is done differently and the hotel is located at the heart of the town. The best part was the honesty bar which was something new for me. Hotel staff was well trained and were very polite. Breakfast needs improvement.
