At first, I didnt know what to expect from this hotel. We chose this hotel solely because of the attractive price tag with surprisingly good reviews. After staying for 3 nights, I have got nothing but good things to say about this hotel.

After a tiring day of disneyland and a whole RER journey to pernety station, we arrived at nighttime and were greeted by a friendly manager who offered us some free welcoming drinks, we opted for some fresh juice and he showed us our room.

We were allocated to room 33 , which is on the top floor, which certainly provides some peace and silence. i do not think room is small even my room is the cheapest one. not to forget to mention the bathroom is very nice. THE SHOWER WATER PRESSURE IS FANTASTIC ! Everything is impeccably clean.

Staffs are totally well trained, probably the best hotel service i have ever encountered.

Asked them for some local french restaurant recommendations, we went to one of the suggestions, which was called L'essentiel. definitely a local french restaurant which is a 5 mins walk, we speak zero french.only english and chinese. Although they got no english menu, we luckily got some help from a staff who speaks english, ordered Lamb and beef, soo delicious and well priced, not to mention the ambience is fantastic, but dont expect fantastic services from a normal french restuarant i guess.

We always forgot to buy water from supermarkets and we got 2 bottles of nestle water every night. how nice !

always been offered free coffee and juice, literally everytime !!! As long as they stay the same way they do buisness, im definitely coming back and recommend to all my friends and everyone on tripadvisor. Thanks Le Fabe, the gem hiding in pernety.

Nice cozy place away from the hustle and bustle of the center of Paris. Not the most convenient location but close enough to the Pernety station on the 13 line so it only takes up to 45 minutes to get anywhere we wanted in the city. The area also seems more residential, so there are a couple shops and restaurants that are a lot more Parisian and friendly than those you find near touristy areas. The front desk was extremely helpful especially since my girlfriend and I spoke zero french. They helped us out with numerous things that made our stay a lot more comfortable, from recommending a cozy little restaurant that ended up being our favorite meal of the trip to helping us grab a cab when our airport shuttle decided to cancel on us 30 minutes before we were supposed to be picked up, and even teaching us a couple useful phrases and tips whenever we chat with them briefly just passing by. Whoever was manning the front desk was always super friendly and eager to help, a far cry from the first hotel we stayed at during the first couple days of our trip. I read a couple reviews here before our trip that some people think the rooms are small, but I feel that for the price (and also being used to hotels in Japan) it's a perfectly acceptable size. Definitely one of the best decisions we made this trip!

I stayed at Le Fabe hotel whilst in Paris for a short city break with my girlfriend at the end of January (31st-3rd). The hotel is located south of the city and is only a few minutes walk from the Pernety metro station which is fantastic as it makes commuting from CDG Airport and around Paris very convenient. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. We stayed in the 'French Romance' suit which was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The room was spacious, had a flat screen tv and a coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable and as the hotel is modern the rooms are sound proofed and windows double glazed. As the hotel is situated just outside the main tourist area, the surrounding restaurants ect have a much more traditional 'Parisien' quality of food, service and price (unlike the tourist trap places you are likely to come across in the north of the city). We had breakfast at the hotel which was high quality and value for money (€10 pp), they provided a vast selection of food to suit all tastes, from traditional European breakfast including breads, cheeses and meats to cereals and yogurts ect, they also provide a range of cold drinks (fresh orange and tropical juice) as well as tea and coffee. Now, on to the best part, the staff, first of all, my girlfriend and I have stayed at quite a number of hotels across Europe, non of which provided the level of service that we received from the staff at Le Fabe. The staff had a genuine interest in making our stay at the hotel and Paris a great one. I nipped down to the desk one of the evenings to ask for a map of the city to help us plan for our trip the following day and got speaking to the man at reception (really wish I had asked for names as they deserve credit) and he was incredibly helpful and made a real effort to advise us on what to do and see and what to be weary of in Paris, all advice was critical in making our trip so memorable for my girlfriend and I. Every time we approached the staff for anything they were more than happy to help. This hotel made our stay in Paris very special and I would like to say a massive thanks to all the staff for their wonderful hospitality during our stay.
I will strongly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel when visiting Paris and we certainly will stay again when we return.
Cheers, Edward and Vicky.

Beautiful little hotel out of the main center of paris. Easy to get anywhere around the city because of the metro station on the same block as the hotel.
Very welcoming and friendly hotel staff with great English!
Only down side would be traffic noise in the early morning..
Great stay and would go back again!

Tough choice deciding which hotel to pick in such a vast city but boy did we find a gem, very conveniently placed in the city centre with a metro centre not far away! The welcome was superb and beds extremely comfortable. The only down side to this was the noise from traffic outside, I know it's not the hotels fault but woke up a few times due to this. Also like to add that the managers English was very impressive 5 stars!!

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay at Le Fabe hotel over New Year. We really wanted a special trip and the hotel lived up to reviews. It was quite easy to find and we recommend a metro pass for ease of travel. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted, made to feel very welcome and shown to our room. Very nicely decorated and modern, the hotel surpasses expectations for the rating. Rooms are small in Paris but that applies to any hotel regardless of rating and this hotel was excellent value for money. All staff were very helpful, particularly when we asked for recommendations for restaurants. We ate locally and also in St Germain and had fantastic meals, mostly off the tourist track. I loved the area around the hotel as it feels much more like real Paris than many of the other tourist locations. A half bottle of champagne was a nice touch on New Year's Eve and we really enjoyed our Hogmanay in Paris. Thanks to the hotel and staff for a memorable stay. We would definitely return!

Restaurants we tried in area: le 14 juillet, La maison de Verlaine (awesome new yr meal), les artistes.

The Manager and staff could not be more friendly. Their English was good too. Cold drink on arrival. However, the room is very small (even after their room "upgrade").

Location is close to the Train Station. A nice easy flat walk.

Bonjour RAYBOZ,

I firstly would like to thank you for taking the time to write a review about our hotel on Tripadvisor and of course for your kind words about our staff.

I am sorry to read that the size of the room did not live up to your expectations. Indeed, we know Australians and Americans are not used to the size of European rooms, that is the reason why we try to upgrade them when it is possible.

If you travel often to Europe, and especially in important cities and capitals, the rooms are really small compared to the size standards of Australia and United States. To avoid all bas surprises, we mention the size of every single room on our website and on all our main partners'.

I also must add that our hotel proposes three types of rooms and you had chosen the first type, the smallest which is definitely a but tiny for people seeking for space in their room.

We are looking forward to maybe welcoming again to Paris and in this case, make sure you book our large rooms.

With kind regards

Alexandre
