Found this place through trip advisor and could attest the food was tasty and unpretentious. The owner very helpful. Desserts were delicious and the red house wine we tasted was light and complemented our food. We were very much surprised by finding a place in heavy traffic tourist area that was taking their clientele seriously, not like a quick means to get money. Reasonably priced as well.

Went for breakfast. Freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious but half the glass was pith & pips. Middle-aged lady who served us wasn’t very friendly, despite our efforts

Had lunch earlier today with my wife in this fantastic classic Parisian cafe and loved every single thing about it.

The owner - who may or may not be Louise herself was so charming and helpful and put us right at our ease.

On top of this however the classic French cuisine was absolutely stunning- from the fabulous escargot to start to the delicious cheese ravioli my had. I had the lamb shank that was beautifully cooked and simply fell off the bone accompanied by the very tasty mashed potatoes that were so creamy you could have buttered your bread with it - and I do mean that in a good way.

To sum up - it was a lunch that will live long in the memory for all the right reasons - merci beaucoup!

All of us, including our 11-month old, were enchanted by the owner, who emptied a cozy corner where we wouldn't be bothered by other visitors, warmed the baby food, and even stopped to entertain the child when passing by. As for the rest, both wine and food were very good, and the portions very generous. We wish best luck to the cafe and the owner!

Its located very close to Le Louvre, but not so crowded. We had a wonderful lunch by the window in a snowy day... The many is short but well selected. We had a ratatouille and a coq du vin. Both were really tasty. It's a not pricey but is what you can get in that area. The woman in the service was helpful and tried to speak as much English as possible.
