“Too small but very stylish”
Reviewed 10 October 2011

This hotel really looks the part with a really gorgeous interior. It is just super tiny which is a shame. My husband is 6ft 6 so the first room we were offered with a teeniest double bed was just too small, I called reception and we were moved straight away to a room with a larger bed. The rooms literally just have enough space to walk around the bed. The en suite tiny also. I can live with a small room though, if just for a few days but i found the whole feel of the hotel very claustrophobic. The lift is only big enough for two people at a time and as soon as you step out of it you are right at the door of someones room (glad that it wasn't ours). We paid just over 200 euro a night which i thought was a bit much considering you do feel like a sardine. Also there is no actual room to leave your luggage so it is all just dotted around the reception area which makes an already small space, even smaller and rather untidy looking.
The staff though are super nice and there is free and fast wifi which is great. Also an ipod dock and nespresso in the room which are nice touches. It's in a great location right beside the metro. Would stay again if we got a better rate.....saw someone mention 105 a night...that is unbelievable and definitely worth that so if you can get it for around that price, definitely stay!

As you probably know hotels are awarded starts for the range of their facilities, not the quality per se. Officially a 3 star hotel this deserves 5 for the latter. For just over 100 Euros/night we got very modern and clean rooms, good service, quiet location around the corner from the metro and within 15 walk of Arc De Triumphe. Yes, rooms rooms are not big, but show me a bigger room in Paris for less than 200 Euros/night... Staff are very helpful... Definitely, would go back...

I agree with suzyanne's and hazard a guess that she is american.
In Europe we do like small and dainty. 25m2 room is big for Paris !
If you stay here you must like the colour black. Black walls, tiles, everything is black. Leather on walls is all black.
We stayed in the prestige room as we got upgraded with the of the Eiffel Tower view. It did get very warm in this room & the air con was pretty weak.
Overall clean and decor is odd & modern. Loewe tv is a nice touch but cannot help thinking why spend all that money?
Breakfast was adequate but hot eggs where 4€ extra per plate which is cheaky since we had paid 15€ each for breakfast already.

I liked:
. Value for money - if you pay 105€ like I did, the standard 400€ or so is way too much
. Location
. Free wifi
. Friendly staff

I did not like
. Rooms far smaller than represented on the site
. Tiny rooms
. Breakfast in the basement

We reserved a "prestige room with view of the Eifel Tower". Our "prestige" room turned out to be the size of a bathroom!! seriously the bed barely fits in it and it's too black so it looks even smaller! and the view we got was literally the tip of the Eifel Tower. (see attached photo). The elevator barely fits one thin person with one bag! and the smell...they spray this "air freshener" that smells really bad!
Now for the positive side: The location is good-walking distance from l'arc de triomphe - L'entrecote restaurant is in the same building.

Great hotel, with nice cosy, stylish and modern decoration. Nice bathroom and the bed was very confortable. There was free nespresso coffee machine available in the room. A delicious breakfast buffet, very complete.
What you see in the pictures it's really what you get.
Very well located, in a quiet street, we were just 10 minutes by walk from the Arc De Triomphe and the Champs Elysées, the subway station was next to the hotel.
The staff were excellent, very helful and friendly.
The only negative point is that the room is quite small and there is not a lot of space in the elevators. But besides that, this is a hotel that I higly recommend.

We booked this hotel online jus by lookin at the pics n the excellent summer rate they offered. When we arrived,we were not disappointed! Rooms r a bit small but very new n tastefully furnished. The concierge Patrick is nothing short of friendly n helpful,n it was wonderful to be greeted by him first thing when we checked in. Loewe tv,nespresso machine, rainshower, n complimentary Internet all in,I'd say this hotel is excellent,n I'd give u a huge green sign if u r contemplating to stay here:)
