“Good value for money”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

Again this is our 4th visit to this hotel managed by Accor. OK, rooms are small, but are equipped with a kitchenette that saves you money. We have 2 meals in and one out. The rooms are cleaned and functional. The longer you stay the less you pay is correct and for the price it was more than decent. We stayed 12 days.

Very central and walking distance to everything that you want. Restaurants, Le Marais, Rue de Rivoli, Centre Pompidou and much more. 6mn walk from la Gare de Lyon and public transport 30 meters from the hotel will take you to Galeries Lafayette, Opera and all the chic areas if that is what you want. On the bus it is a gem and a little trip of Paris on the way there.

Many restaurants in the areas at very reasonable prices as well as 2 supermarkets close by and a cinema.

The staff is very courteous and helpful. The manager is also quite vivacious and caring.

We also arrived when the lift was not working and the staff on night duty did help us carry the luggage at 21.30PM.

Two things that could be looked at:
One: one week with no towels and sheets in the heat of July is not so nice.
Two: the newly fitted white duvet are a little of problem, they can get dirty very quickly with no recourse,,,May be not such a good idea. And they are made of man-made fiber which makes them very hot in summer.

Access to airport via a booked shuttle from the hotel is very convenient and not too expensive: 18 euro for one person.

Thanks to the team at Adagio.

We stayed here for 5 nights in Jun'14. It was our second stay in this property.

The only lift was out of service, which meant we had to haul our suitcases up five floors with no assistance available. Every day we would use the staircase and on departure we had to haul all the suitcases down again.

I asked reception for assistance, but they were not empowered to do anything. They did not know the number for customer services -- clearly there is none because there is none on the website either.

I'm posting images of the staircase so you can decide for yourselves if you wish to be taking it.

I think this chain is endemic of the Ryanair service -- all is great when things go well but when there is a problem then there is zero help whatsoever. At rates of EUR 125/night, you're paying for 5-star service but left with no solution when things go wrong.

Dear Sir/Madam,

We would like to thank you for taking the time to write a comment regarding your stay at the Adagio Access Paris Bastille.

We do apologize again, for the lift issue during your stay with us.
When a receptionnist is working "alone" at the reception, he's not allowed to leave the front desk for security reason.
Be assured that we do our best to make your next stay more enjoyable.

Best regards.

Best regards.

The Adagio Access hotel is very easy to reach with metro Bastille or Ledru-Rollin.
For Parisian standards quite normal. Having the kitchenette facilities is good but utensils are used. Interior is out-dated but clean and functional. As expected a bit small, cramped, not too spacious. The mattress by the way is HARD.
What makes this hotel and location great? Fresh bakery is only 2 minutes walking away for your breakfast. At Ledru you'll find a large supermarket and many local shops. Great selection of restaurants.
Going towards Bastille, you'll find a park to sit down and relax. At Bastille more shops, fast food and a market.
This hotel is not in a tourist trap location. No huge crowds blocking your way or sights.

Comfortable
Its an aparthotel , which means it’s a studio room with a microwave, induction plates, good crockery , utensils, kitchen towel , detergent ,cutlery et al . The room may not be very big but if you are out of the house for most of the day it will suit you fine. Very basic and functional . the staff is helpful and friendly. A set breakfast is provided but it is cheaper to buy groceries from a nearby shop and have the meals of your choice.Bathroom is spacious. If you go in summer , you may find it warm , therefore they have provided a table fan . March was pleasant and heating was provided. The hotel is accessible from two metro stations ,Gare de Lyon and the Bastille . The Bastille metro does not have escalators so think twice about carting large suitcases. At night we preferred to return to Gare de Lyon and not to Bastille metro to avoid the tramps on the sidewalks. The hotel provides free wifi . The cleaning maid does not come in on a daily basis but they have provided a broom and a scrub to keep the room tidy .

Room Tip: Choose a room on the higher floors; better view

Residence Hôtelière Le 300 was excellent for our purposes - a quick overnight stay in Paris. We arrived late (after 11pm, since our TGV was delayed from Picardie) and were still welcomed warmly - in our native tongue no less!
Was shown to our room. Small, spartan but perfectly servicable. Small kitchen area included which was a nice touch.
Bathroom was pretty and spacious.
Bedroom had very pleasant view of the street to the rear, and was quiet.

Had an uneventful but satisfying stay. Checked-out twenty minutes late with no incident.

If you are on budget in Paris, Adagio Bastille could be an option.
Pro:
It's a typical apart hotel with your own kitchen with everything you would need to prepare your breakfast, lunch or dinner. The price is lower than the usual you would pay in another place .The neighborhood is really calm, quite near the tourist attracation and 2 blocks away the nearest subway station. Also you have Carrefour crossing the street.
Cons:
No WiFi, no Air Conditioned, no cleaning room if you stay more than 2 days and less than 7 days. The give you a noisy fan which in Summer becomes insufficient.

Nice place, but you clean your room yourself, or really you keep it clean. Rooms are quiet. Very basic breakfast for 8 Euro. Rooms are simple apartments with fridge and stove, quite small for most. Rates drop to half for long stays. 5 minute walk from Gare de Lyon. Web internet included, full internet 12 Euro per week.
