I had to stay here because I could not make reservations at the Pullman Hotel Bercy, which is next door.
I like the location, close to the Village Bercy with its many restaurants and lively atmosphere.
Also next to the Cour St.Emillion Metro Station.
Well, do not expect a real hotel experience. The bed is a hideaway one. All you get in the shower and bathroom is a liquid shampoo/liquid soap/conditioner all in one preparation.
But it is clean, there is a kitchen with small fridge (shop at the Monoprix at the Village Bercy).
Free wi-fi (which they say is the slower one - faster if you paid) is very fast.
All this for only Euro 130 per evening? That is a great deal.
One more thing: do not pay for breakfast there, nor go to the Starbucks nearby.
Next door there is a Café Presse, with excellent latte, pastries at half the price of the Starbucks.

We were a little concerned about staying here after reading the reviews, however, our four night stay was excellent. We had a refurbished twin room, everything looked very new and the kitchen utensils had never been used.
It was possible to eat at the table, even though the beds took up most of the room. Very well equipped with two plate hotplate, microwave, coffee maker, fridge with ice box, dishwasher with tablets provided, safe & iron. Had a small balcony with two folding chairs.
Only downside - terrible small and very old towels!
All the staff we came across we polite and helpful.
Bercy is a new area to us and not like Paris at all, there are plenty of places to eat and drink and the metro is about five minutes walk. You can be in central Paris in about 15 minutes. There is a Monop store in Bercy village for groceries and a bakery within the village complex.
Excellent stay, we would return.

Room Tip: Twin room has two single beds, they take up most of the room but are more comfortable than a sofa be...

This must probably my worst stay in Paris so far!! The hotel is under renovation!! From 8:00 in the morning drilling, hammers, noise, noise, noise!!! If you can not accommodate guests in a normal way that don't accept them!! The staff extremely unhelpful in trying to find a solution.

Never again!!

I was in Paris for the half marathon on 3 March (Paris Semi-Marathon) and the Adagio in Vincennes (just outside of Paris where the race begins) was booked up early. This Bercy location was conveniently located, both to Paris city center (maybe 15 min by metro) and the race. A cinema, several restaurants, food markets and a Monoprix department store were nearby within walking distance. The hotel is in a safe neighborhood. Bercy Park is nearby for those who like a quick daily run, and the room was fine. I was there with a friend so we booked a studio with two single beds. The beds were comfortable and we had a small fridge, cooktop and microwave in the room. The bathroom was equipped with both a tub and shower and while it wasn't fancy, the room was clean and more than adequate given the price. All front desk personnel spoke some English. I would absolutely stay there again.

Bercy is a business district so is miles from the usual tourist amenities. However, there is a cinema close by and several restaurants, and it's only two stops from the Gare de Lyon.
The Accor chain seems to be taking over a large percentage of European hotels, but so far my experience with Adagio has been consistently good based on two stays in two cities.

Room Tip: No tips. We had a room adjacent to the lift but it was OK

I have stayed at the Adagio-Bercy several times while in Paris. The location is wonderful and the people who work there are friendly and helpful.

However, it has deteriorated over time. The rooms have old, worn carpets, increasingly moldy showers, a couch that is breaking down and dirty, and uncomfortable beds. The kitchen areas is clean. However, the first room assigned to me had a refrigerator with a broken door. The hotel could use the kind of upgrade that many of the Ibis hotels have undergone recently. Get rid of the carpet, replace the shower unit, install a new mattress, and replace the couch. I probably won't choose it again until I hear that some of these changes have occurred.
