A charming apartment in a great location. On the fourth floor so be warned to keep the luggage light but in an excellent location. In walking distance to lots of top spots and close to RER and Metro. A self check in with clear instructions supplied by Augusta was a bonus as that can be a problem from experience. We loved our stay and would love to return some day!
Have stayed at many places in Paris...this is by far the best location. Mainly because you are so close to everything in the Latin quarter and the view of Notre Dame is spectacular. When visiting Paris, this is the area I am always drawn to - so to have this as a home base was awesome.
The bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything I needed. Quiet for sleeping. Grocery stores, restaurants, pâtisseries, etc, all close by.
No place to hang clothes except for some hooks on bathroom door...so I used the drying rack to keep clothes from wrinkling.
Size of apartment was plentiful for me as it was just myself.
I just especially appreciated that I could gaze at Notre Dame while eating breakfast at the table, sitting on the couch, etc. Would definitely stay there again!
As advertised, the place is small and old. We expected that and stayed there for the view. Mitre Dame is across the river and you can see it right out your window. That was great. A few negatives though. 1. The host was not very available but did answer a few basic questions. We never met Augusta. 2. And this was big, drying laundry was left on a rack in the small space. We were told that we could move it, but it’s a studio and there’s nowhere to move them. 3. Also big, the bed was very uncomfortable, lumpy, and old. If you’re looking for a simply a well located space to lay your head, this might work. There was a certain charm to the place, but keep your expectations appropriately low.
This apartment is located right across the street from Notre Dame and the left bank book sellers. The location was perfect. We were able to walk or take the metro everywhere we wanted to go. We did walk to the Eiffel Tower and that was a decent 30-minute walk but a great way to explore more of Paris. We were also able to walk to most of the museums, Musée Louvre, Musée de l'Orangerie and Musée d'Orsay. We were able to take the train directly from the St. Michel-Notre Dame metro and spent the day at Versailles. Thank you Augusta for sharing your home with us.
I have stayed at this place in November 2016. This was not my first time in Paris, but the first time I have stayed in a private apartment. And I must say this has been so much better than any hotel I have stayed at in Paris! Also, we were lucky to be greeted by the owner herself, very charming and fluent in a number of languages.
First: location! From the apartment you have a direct view onto Notre Dame and it is directly located in first row to the river Seine. When you step out, there is a pretty square which makes you feel like you directly stepped into a typical Paris movie.
Second, style! The apartment is beautifully appointed, you can see the owner has an eye for detail and design. There is even a small fireplace
Third, comfort! Comfortable bed and sufficient space for a couple to spend a few days or even weeks
Fourth, cleanliness! The apartment seems like it is newly renovated, so everything including bathroom is very clean
Overall, a fantastic place, it almost seems like a real bargain for what it is offering! Thanks to the owner for a great stay!

Perfect placed flat in opposite of Notre Dame with fantastic view on the church from a typicall french balcony. Further the apartment includes a bathtub which is quite relaxing after a long walk through the city. The bed and also the kitchen can mentioned as more than average comfortable-you wont miss anything.
In the closer neighborhood you can find several bars and restaurants which will leave nothing to be desired. Also the quarter for clubbing and bars (Marais) can be reached after a short walk.
In sum, you will not need the tube/metro to get to know the city.
Matter of taste:4th floor without elevator ;)
