Marriott Owned Renaissance is extremely chic - very updated decor. The staff was extrodinairily helpful and courteous. We splurged on a larger room - huge by Paris standards. Location is the BEST for Champs Elysses, L'Arc de Triomphe, Metro, cafes with outdoor seating, shopping, quick bite (McD's and Quality Burger). Easy to get a taxi. Gorgeous restaurant on premise - did not eat there - but checked out the breakfast buffet and it looked amazing! Free WiFi in the room, little treat on the pillow every night, also a small token gift for my hubby who is a Silver level rewards member. Business center was helpful and agreed to print items out for us that we emailed to them for tours, etc.

Room Tip: Room overlooking the courtyard is wonderful for sunset and nice view. Enjoyed baguette, cheese, mea...

We stayed at the Renaissance for 3 nights in June. The property is owned by Marriott and is modern, clean and new compared to others in Paris. The location is hands down the best part of this hotel. You are looking at Arc de Triompe from the side as soon as you step outside the hotel. The metro station is up the street and a 2 min walk. Champs Élysées is 5min walk. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area. The rooms are fairly large for European standards and has great views of the city with lots of natural light. Hotel provides free wifi. The staff speaks very good English and is very helpful. The concierge is great with good suggestions. Cab ride from Gare du nord to the hotel costs around 22euros.

Great location just a 10 minute walk from the Champ Elysees. Rooms are fairly large (or VERY large if you consider the general size of hotels in Paris), with plenty of natural sunlight (wall to wall glass), and service good (or excellent, again considering some very bad experiences I have had with other hotels I have had in Paris).

There are a few great traditional cafes and eateries just downstairs, a Starbucks next door, and a McDonalds down the road. Every modern convenience is included, including free wifi.

What this hotel lacks in personality (heritage, architecture, design, creative decor), this hotel makes up for in location and convenience. If you are a modern traveller looking for convenience and not big on incredible or heritage experiences, then this is THE hotel for you. Thumbs up.

It's ok, but I wouldn't give it 5 stars. We stayed in a jr suite that supposedly had wireless internet included, however, the wireless signal didn't reach the room. The location is very good and the breakfast is delicious!

This hotel, close enough to the Arc de Triomphe, but not completely inside all the mayhem of the circle, is modern and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I want to thank Carla for her help in printing out the boarding passes and then in addition have them sent to our room. The hotel room had a small balcony looking away from the street yet an amazing view (from the 6th floor). Bathroom and room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The iron and ironing board were new and worked great. This place is great all around.

Room Tip: 6th floor and up have better views

Nice boutique style hotel that is just a short walk to the Arc and the Champ Elysees. The Metro and buses are also close by (although we either walked to cabbed just about everywhere). Service is excellent - everyone speaks English well as they seem to cater to the American crowd. The AM breakfast buffet was splendid and fresh. The rooms themselves were comfortable and well-stocked, although our view of the courtyard was limited.

I don't care what the ranking is, this is the number 1 hotel in Paris.

My fiancé and I were on a two week vacation through Italy and ending in Paris. The Renaissance was absolutely the best way we could have ended our trip. We both agreed, it's definitely the best hotel we've ever stayed at.

We got in at 2am because our flight was delayed so you can imagine how tired we were. Maria was nice during check in, she made sure everything was just right with our room. The concierge "Navigator" was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. The places recommended by Antoine and Chloe were some of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Their recommendations should not be passed up. Giorgia was so attentive during our entire stay, I felt as if she worked at the hotel just for us.

The rooms are beautiful and always clean. Breakfast is delicious and fresh. I really can't say enough great things about the hotel. We didn't want to leave.
