My boyfriend and I really had a good time at this hotel. It was very easy to get to using the metro system and it literally is located across the street from the station.

Pros:

-Excellent service where we were able to check in early as our room was available. The receptionist was very helpful and helped us navigating through the city
-As previously mentioned, it is very easy to get to using the metro.
-It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the eiffel tower where you can catch the various hop on hop off buses (they are literally located all around the eiffel tower).
-It comes with breakfast in bed (croissants, juice, yogurt and coffee)
-Wi-fi connection is good inside our hotel room.
-Considering the horror stories we've heard about paris hotel rooms, this room was extremely clean. The shower leaked a bit of water but we did not really mind this. FYI: the toilet is located in a separate room from the bathroom. It is very quiet where we did not hear any noise from other people.
-There are a bunch of cafes/restaurants around the hotel for additional snacks/meals.
-Most importantly, we walked by a laundry mat down the street!! For those who are travelling for a long time, laundry is a blessing!! Unfortunately, we spotted this too late but it is one block past the zig zag cafe.
-There is a lounge to relax by the receptionist area.

Con:

There isn't really a con to the hotel itself.. the only thing I can mention is that we would stay closer to the latin quarter the next time around because it seems like its closer to our interested sights. However, if you wish to stay near the eiffel tower AND are planning to take the hop on hop off buses.. then this is a good place. If you also plan to take the boat tour down the river cruise down the seine river... (this is also located right by the eiffel tower), then the hotel would be for you.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that gives a view of the eiffel tower!! We were given a room on the fifth floor which...

I came here with my boyfriend for a romantic weekend away. It's a really lovely unique hotel. The rooms are fairly small but fun. Each room has different coloured lighting, we stayed in the blue room. It was a bit difficult to do make up, but the lighting in the toilet was better for this. The shower was really cool. You can view the other person showering whilst sitting on the bed. We didn't mind this.
The hotel is roughly 15 mins from the Eiffel Tower and about 35 mins from Notre Dame.
I have some lovely memories of this hotel as my boyfriend proposed to me whilst in Paris. We are already looking forward to future trips and will not hesitate to use this hotel again.

Thanks to Trip Advisor our Paris trip was excellent, the reviews from this site explained exactly what we experienced starting with the Hotel. Not too pricey excellent views, communication, service, location.
I just didnt realize the door key was neccessary for electricity to the room! I guess I was the only one that didint know this because it was like that all over Europe! Thank you Hotel Sublime Eiffel for a great stay.

Room Tip: Stay where you can get the "feel for the City" feel. Note the neighborhood shops, restera...

Pros:
-The hotel is in the perfect location. The metro is directly across the street, it's a ~20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, there's a great cafe (Basile) right up the street, as well as a bakery and grocery store around the corner.
-We enjoyed the funky atmosphere and eclectic rooms.
-The bed was super comfortable.
-They have nice thick towels and abundant hot water.
-The staff were friendly and helpful.
-They honored our request for a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower.
-There were only 3 rooms on our floor and it was pretty quiet.

Cons:
-The room is tiny. I've stayed at other places in Paris on different rooms and all rooms are small, but this was definitely the smallest. We didn't spend much time at the hotel, but getting ready was a challenge for two people, and my husband and I had to coordinate bathroom time. The room with the shower was ok, but the room with the toilet was smaller than a coat closet. Luckily we're small people, but even so, there's barely enough room to turn around; I would be surprised if it was 3 feet across.
-The shower was quite moldy, to the point that it made the whole room smell of mildew, and the entire floor in that room needed a really extensive cleaning. The corners, especially under the sink, were completely grimy, as was the grout in the shower.
-The hotel was nice enough but seemed overpriced for the size, and if I'm paying 170 euro per night I expect a clean, mold-free shower.

This was my first stay in Paris and this was a great hotel for a first stay or any stay. The staff at the front desk were so nice and so helpful with everything about Paris and helping us with how to get around every day. The hotel is in a great location being right across from the metro. The hotels is also in a great location for places to eat and grocery stores for daily supplies. The staff was also very helpful with having a car waiting for us after our flight and having a room ready for an early check and arranging for a shuttle back to the airport. I loved staying at this hotel and highly recommend!!

Just returned (as in, work up there this morning!) from a delightful night spent in this charming hotel. Staff were brilliant, very helpful, and spoke great English too. Also a great help in pointing out where is good to park without running the risk of getting a ticket! Rooms were well appointed, and even better than the pictures make out - even the spiral staircase (for when the tiny lift just couldn't take everyone *AND* the luggage!) was well decorated! No problem with wifi reception or speed either. Overall, a well enjoyed break away spent here!

Room Tip: Rooms on higher levels have a better view of the Eiffel Tower!

I've stayed in lots of hotels all over the world but never have felt the need to write a review before. The only reason I have done this time isn't due to the fantastic location (5 mins from the Eiffel tower, 10 mins from the Catacombs and literally opposite the metro station) or the funky (if slightly porno) rooms. I felt the need to write the review because of the hotel staff. Firstly when we arrived they came out to advise us where to park and made sure we wouldn't be in a place where we might get towed, secondly they were always ready to answer even the most inane questions about the city or the room and didn't even complain or charge me when I got a bit too rock and roll and smashed a glass from the room when I was leaning out of the balcony to see the Eiffel tower at night.

I don't know when I'll be next in Paris but I'll definitely be staying at the Sublim Eiffel when I do.

Room Tip: The higher up the better!
