“OK Restaurant”
Reviewed 14 July 2013

After a Louvre tour with 2 US Friends we decided to head for the Latin quarter. Hungry we stopped at this restaurant. Compared to some of the reviews of the place we had a good experience. The waiters were attentive and the food was fine...as was the price

“Garbage”
Reviewed 12 July 2013 via mobile

This restaurant masquerades as a French resto but is actually Greek. They made a total mess of frog legs and the coq au vin was inedible. Wouldn't eat there again if THEY paid ME

“Worst Food in Paris by far!”
Reviewed 11 July 2013

After a visit to Notre dam we crossed the bridge to get a quick bite in the Sait Michelle district (latin quarter. Anyway we wer convinced by the owner that his food was the best on the street and we would enjoy it ... guaranteed! It was bland and really the worst food we had in Paris. The creme brulee came in a Costco style container and was about as good. Basically nothing good to say ... I had the steak and it had no taste, how do you wreck a steak? Cheap cut is how. DO NOT EAT HERE. Previous viewer that rated it high had the restaurants mixed up this was not in a hotel.

“Great fondue and friendly service”
Reviewed 25 June 2013

There are so many restaurants in the Latin Quarter that are basically exactly like this one, we just ended up here randomly but would definitely go back. We had been wanting fondue, and so ordered one Savoyard and one Roquefort (blue cheese). Our fondues came with plenty of fresh bread and potatoes, and both were delicious. Service was very friendly and everyone spoke English after smiling through my attempts to speak in French (le sigh). The restaurant itself is decorated as a Greek restaurant (cool Santorini murals), but considering you have to walk in past giant menus displayed on the street there should be no surprise that it's a predominantly French menu. Overall, great!

“Unexpected, but a pleasant suprise!”
Reviewed 23 June 2013

The name of this restaurant suggests it should not serve French food, however you'd be surprised.

We took a look at the menu and noticed it was a little different to some of the other places in Rue Harpe so we decided to give it a go.

The Carnard a l'orange was a nice dish, with the duck perfectly cooked. Lots of local, young french people were in here while we were here which confirmed our decision to stop in for a bit to eat.

The wait staff here were very attentive and nice to have a chat to when it wasn't so busy.

The menu was quite extensive, so the worst thing here will be simply choosing what you want to eat!
