We thought we were going to a cool trendy restaurant. Turns out this place is more about the downstairs club scene than the food upstairs. Got the appetizer platter for two it could of come straight from TGIFridays. My crispy duck was so crispy it was disgusting. Desserts were underwhelming. On top of all that the music kept constantly skipping - very annoying. To their credit restaurant tried to make up for it with a free drink but the evening was a big disappointment. Too many good/great restaurants in Paris to waster your time at this one.

My husband and I went to LeCab (Cabaret) the end of May. We were really looking forward to going since we had read a lot about it and heard it was the place to be. We even read it may be hard to get into because it is such an exclusive night club and the lines are long. Having been to other clubs in Paris, as well as, other clubs worldwide we were not overly impressed with the outdated music and low ceilings. We decided to make the best of it and spent several hours partying there. At first, our cocktail of choice, Red Bull and Vodka was going down great. As the night progressed, our Red Bull and Vodka was switched out to apple juice and Vodka. Although the color was similar, the taste and smell was undeniably apple juice. Upon approaching the bartender, he profusely denied serving us apple juice and even showed us an empty can of Red Bull which he dug from the bottom of a large trash can. He went on to tell us that Red Bull in Paris is different than Red Bull in America. Since we have drunk Red Bull in many different countries, including Austria, we took our complaints elsewhere.

Many bouncers smelled our drinks and one even tasted our drink and all agreed it was apple juice and not Red Bull. At this point, we returned to the bartender and he admitted he had served us apple juice because they had run out of Red Bull. He offered us another drink and we declined and opted to leave this dishonest establishment. Not only did they lie to us, but they cheated us as well. Drinks served with Red Bull cost significantly more. If you are unfortunate enough to go to LeCab (Cabaret), bring your own Red Bull.
